A Laredo woman and her two children went missing after visiting family in Sabinas Hidalgo, Nuevo Leon, a town located about 78 miles south of Nuevo Laredo, Mexican authorities said.

Gladys Cristina Perez Sanchez, 39, along with Juan Carlos Gonzalez, 16, and Michelle Cristina Duran, 9, were last seen June 13 after departing from Sabinas Hidalgo, authorities said.

“The Monterrey Nuevo Laredo Highway is currently called the Bermuda Triangle, he says it’s strange because many people have been disappearing there,” said Jose Israel.”

Hmmmmm

Woman and two children reported missing in Nuevo Laredo
Unfortunately, they are disappearing due to drug wars, cartel crime and kidnappings. My husband's company, which has a large presence in Mexico will no longer let their engineers travel there, for any reason.

This is not good. She probably travels this route often to see about her father so likely was not paying much attention to safety concerns. I know people who take their RVs into Mexico and argue that there is no more danger there than anywhere in the states. Nope.

It’s such a shame this beautiful family is missing. When a case has possible drug war, cartel, gangs, etc involvement, I always wish they would somehow let the family know so they can stop looking and hoping. I know this is not a likely outcome but I really wish they would be found safe.

So I go to Mexico and just got back. Traveling desolate highways is risky. We always use the cuotas because they are patrolled and paid and highly traveled.

In cities it’s best to mind your own business, pay attention to your surroundings, and don’t be conspicuous. But out on the highways, it can be cartels but even more it could be just any local yokels who wanna steal your car.

Relative continues to search for missing family members

Relative continues to search for missing family members

During their search, Gladys’ family says the FBI told them they found the missing vehicle.

Glady’s cousin, Joe Chapa says he has increased the reward to $10,000 for information on his family member.

The FBI is working with the federal police in Mexico to find any trace of Gladys and her kids.

Both sides of the family are humbling asking the community to pray for their return.

My quoted post didn't take... It's the previously posted article and the newest one today.

From this Dec 8 article, it says FBI told family members the car had been found, nothing about bodies. Now, months later this newest article says it was found with bodies and that they are going to do DNA tests. I wonder why this wasn't done before. Curious and interesting.

That is very strange. This recent article made it sound like the bodies were in the car?
