Idk. Jr only has 1 person out there doing any looking. And he hasn't supposedly been able to pay the p.i that much. So I doubt it.

I remember JR saying he checked hospitals in Cancun, but not sure about Oaxaca or other states. Someone suggested checking jails and he said he assumed the police had done that. I think that was early on when he still had faith in the LE. So AKAIK, the answer to both questions is probably not or not thoroughly IMO.

He would have been better off posting here the first day he seen that Jenny had a thread here.

Thanks for the heads up. Thankfully, it's just closed, not secret. We wouldn't see it if it was a secret group (which is very nifty if you want to fly under the radar). Could you see his comment about harassment?...Are you a member?

I wonder what kind of harassment. I think it's been pretty quiet, actually. He can always delete comments and ban people...which he has done.

Yes, I am a member. He didn't go into details what sort of harassment he's seeing. But others did comment that setting to secret/closed makes things look worse for him and this should be public to allow people to search and see the information posted.

I don't know about trolling the phone number...that number has been on fliers for ages. Did his arrest hit the paper?

Thanks! It does make it look worse for him. He's very thin skinned. It's probably not fair to post anything else from the group since it's closed. We have to respect that, but I'm glad you're there to keep an eye on things. Don't get yourself banned. I hope it opens soon.

You're right, Dex. From the beginning he had trouble dealing with simple, helpful questions. Now I guess he will just go sulk in a corner since he didn't get what he wanted. Ugh.

He simply failed to listen to people. If he'd responded to people's questions, there probably would have been little "trolling." People got upset. THere are many quotes about how lack of information can get people into a froth. This guy would only throw out once sentence statements that raised more questions. I think one in June he said, "This has turned into a criminal investigation." And provided no information as to why.

Again, very poorly communicates with the public, so I guess it makes sense to him to close the group and make this all private.

Agree. The same with the notebook. He just says that's her handwriting. But doesn't mention if he was talking about the name or the writing of the actual contents that was on the notepad.

Plus he pours out all the details in this last radio report. But never mentioned none of it before. Jmo.

Like the atm. And spending the night at truck stops. And 2 women that need to be questioned and whatever else.

Nobody is donating to his Go Fund Me anymore, so I guess he decided he doesn&#8217;t need the FB group anymore.

I'm glad (poster skywatching tells us) that even some of his HFJ members commented their opinion that he should keep the page's settings to Public for the sake of the search for Jenny.

So, help me understand this Closed FB status. All I get is a login page. What do those of you who have FB accounts see?

To JR: stop shooting yourself in the foot, the self-sabotage. Think of Jenny! Think of her family. Think of the ones who donated to your fund to help pay for the search. With your recent arrest you admitted it, said you wouldn't do it again, and said let's move on. Your HFJ followers seemed to accept that, at least from what I saw. To me, it seemed that that defused or at least minimized that situation. It's unfortunate your skeletons in the closet are coming out, but by closing off the page from Public view you risk decreased sympathy for your misfortunes, and waning interest for helping you find Jenny. You've been trying to use social media to create more awareness and interest in the case, so why do something that may do the opposite?

Well, for me, unless he changes it back I guess his G F M page updates, his PI's twitter and whatever news articles that come out in the mainstream media are what's left for finding out what has happened in this search for poor Jenny. Oh, and let's not forget skywatching. Thanks, skywatching! :cheerful:
