The only information we have is what the Chinese Embassy reported. The family was told by LE that she was still backpacking. We have no information about whether the family believes it or not.

The fact that JR is participating in a caravan looking for missing ones who might have been sex trafficked tells me that he holds onto hope that she's alive, even though he has a "suspect" in her disappearance. But we have had no MSM about Jenny for many
months.

After a lot of investigation, the Mexican police to provide encouraging information to prove that in late May Chen still in the southern part of the Mexican car ride. When informed of the situation, Chen's family was pleased. The search work of the embassy has also been grateful to the President of the Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and the Chinese Embassy, Ms. Huo Hongmei, for their help.

Mexican lost girl Latest news: The police have proved that they are still traveling in the south of Mexicol

Her family was pleased at the information that Jenny was still in the southern part of Mexico.

Tweet # 1 The suspected kidnapper / murderer Jose Sandoval Rahuncer is protected by the cartels, the Oaxaca police, Corona, and Kugar. Justice must be done!

If JR believes that Jenny is alive, then who does he suspect the truck driver of murdering?

What's this whole joke with husband?

He was arrested for illegal sexual activity?

I'm confused. Be patient with the baby sleuth...

JR doesn't know what to believe. All he's knows is Jenny disappeared. He changes his mind back and forth just like we do, because all theories are possible.

Back in July, a very anti-JR sleuth revealed that JR had been caught up in a large LE sting at a Seattle "massage" parlor, where men could pay for sexual favors of various kinds. JR came clean on the HFJ page with a statement that was quickly deleted, but it's a matter of public record. He claimed he was wandering around drunk and wanted a massage. However, no one was arrested unless they agreed to "favors." I'm not sure what the outcome of this case was for JR.

Needless to say, since these establishments often use trafficked women....and he was afraid Jenny had been trafficked...and this was ostensibly a Chinese massage parlor (run by LE)...this was an unbelievably insensitive and hypocritical move on the part of JR. He lost the little respect and sympathy he had left, in the opinion of many on the thread. He had solicited funds to search for Jenny and the question was...did he use some of those funds for this illicit activity? That about covers it. Now you're up to speed. Aren't you glad you asked? :D

"Ask Lilibeth" should be the standard of this thread. Her mind is like a trap!

😂 It's rapidly becoming a sieve. Quick, ask Lilibet before it all sifts out! (No "h" but that's OK. I love the purple graphic anyway! 😊 How did you know it's my favorite color?). You're a darling and made my day. 😍

I just started looking at this case and he's already on my ***** list.

Agreed. Unfortunately, regardless of what did or didn't happen, this has aired his dirty laundry and it's a smelly heap. I just spent two days reading every post on this and while it seems like it should be so obvious, something feels so off. Maybe I just want it to be off so there's some hope Jenny is somewhere happy.

Dang it! I didn't even notice - I swear it was autocorrect.

:welcome: This is quite a case to jump into, brave new member! Thanks for reading every post. You're probably more up on details than those of us who have information sifting out our ears. :D Your input will be helpful.

It does feel off and hinky. I think we're pretty unanimous on that and we also hope Jenny is OK. But the who, what, where, when, why and how of "offness" is the mystery. Any scenario is possible. On Websleuths we think we've seen it all and then something new and bizarre comes up (Teresa Sievers' murder comes to mind). This case is one of them, partly due to the personalities and background of Jenny and JR and the murky communication style he has, and partly due to the circumstances. I still ask "What were they thinking?!!"

Awwww you didn't have to do that. But thanks. :heartbeat: It's an odd spelling because it's what Princess Margaret called her sister Elizabeth when they were little girls. Since I'm also an Elizabeth, I LOVED reading about the princesses as a kid and I decided to adopt it as a screen name.

OT--Autocorrect made me laugh tonight. I was emailing a friend, whining about my allergy attack and mentioned the pollen count being high. Good thing I read it or I would have been talking about the polenta count. :D

To stay in the theme of the beautiful Mexico, fried polenta topped with chorizo and eggs then smothered in green enchilada sauce and sour cream is the best breakfast ever.

:bud:

I wonder if Jenny like the foods locals were cooking and feeding her along her path.

Yum!

Jenny ended up at a hospital because she ate street food. I guess she liked it but it was not a smart thing to do. She was warned....:(

Thanks for the welcome, Lilibet! Usually stick to lurking but this case ended the streak. I agree with everything you said. Some cases just have the "it" factor, sadly.

For this one, I keep coming back to a couple of things. First, the fact that she managed to successfully hitchhike and couch surf for weeks across one of the most dangerous countries in the world and then right before she was set to join up with JR/leave, she disappears. I admit to not being brave enough to entertain even the thought of such a journey, so that's also part of it. But why when it appears to have turned out the way that is the reason I wouldn't, does it still feel off?

Then I got sucked into JR's handling. No, not everyone is equipped to properly deal with someone they know going missing. No, not everyone has social graces. But how do you have no one in your life to reign you in from running everyone off?? Also, after a year of running into dead ends, never really trying a new tactic? Instead choosing to ignore/delete when others propose such ideas? I don't get it.
