Well, I'm sorry for being a Debbie Downer, but that's just way JR rolls. His first 🤬🤬🤬 went completely dry, so he set up the second one for the exact same stated cause (who does that?), and it got him another $280 of free money, in addition to the first $11,110. I'm sure he is not happy with the amount, but I think his goal is to collect the $15,000 he originally requested. He seems to feel he is entitled to that amount. Whatever he gets it's all going to go to paying his bills.

That 11k was fairly good for someone that has never went in front the News camera about their missing wife.

He's hasn't even been on a Mexico News Station in front the camera.

So besides talking to his 20 followers and those fake articles ; He sure doesn't seem like he wants actual media exposure for this case.

Because out of 20 trips to Mexico; He never scheduled an appointment with a news station to interview him in front the camera. Jmo.

Btw. Happy Holidays to all of Jenny's sleuthers.

Don't forget the appointment that he had scheduled with the Mexican Governor, that he missed.

Things have been so quiet with Jenny's case. No updates on HFJ or 🤬🤬🤬(s). It's so sad. I wonder how her family is handling this.

As for JR, if I am understanding this correctly, it looks like he is scheduled for a jury trial tomorrow morning. 3 other sexual exploitation cases are scheduled in the same courtroom at the same time as his, but I'm not sure if they come from the same sting. It seems surprising that it's gone to a jury trial. But he is "innocent," so I guess he wouldn't take a plea deal...

Where is Jenny? Is anybody looking for her? :jail:

Thanks for the heads up about the trial in Seattle Muni Court. I can see why things have been quiet...lots of hearings.

I wonder about her family too. What an awful situation for them.

I’m not sure what kind of legal maneuvering is going on, but there was no trial today and things have been postponed for at least a week.

Meanwhile, where is Jenny? :(

Courts often lump similar type cases together to save on court time. I'm guessing this is a low priority, and a different court case is running long so JR's type got bumped out.

Making one of my random check-ins to see that there is no new news :(.

Hi all.

Tomorrow the JB case is on the Master Calendar and his attorney will try to get it dismissed if I’m interpreting the notes correctly. I’m unclear about the “jury date maintained” note and when that is.

Snipped...
..."The authorities' silence is a touchy subject. The message they send is, 'We don't care. We're not going to do anything,'" Villalvazo told Agence France-Presse.

"In Mexico, it's no big deal - you can kill a woman, a girl, rape her, torture her, kidnap her, and absolutely nothing will happen to you, because they don't investigate. Because it doesn't concern them."

When you have a nation with murdered girls and women no one cares about, including LE, despite a law against femicide, that says it all. It’s beyond depressing. :(

Thank you. I guess he didn't want to plead guilty until he exhausted his options to get a better plea deal.

Because 50 people or so were caught that day. So the prosecutor is probably too busy to negotiate with all of their lawyers at once.

But he should definitely thank his stars that the media never picked up Jennys case. Because they would be going after him as we speak.

I expect you’re right, Dex. More motions discussed today and dates scheduled for 1/26 and 1/30. I can’t decipher what’s going on, except his court appointed attorney seems to be working very hard.

Yes, he’s fortunate to be able to fly under the media radar.

No matter what happens in that court, it won't help find Jenny and isn't relevant to finding Jenny. I'm afraid she's in the same place as all the other forgotten murdered women in Mexico - the desert.

Ugh, just read this recent story of a Mexican woman killed in what is known as "femicide":

http://www.newsweek.com/missing-mex...ns-found-believed-have-been-cooked-pot-788029

Femicide has become a widespread problem in Mexico: An estimated seven women a day were victims of gender-related killings in 2016, according to United Nations Women. Although there are laws in place that are meant to prevent such murders, they persist because the laws are rarely enforced.

It’s very true that JR’s legal issues won’t help find Jenny and aren’t relevant to actually finding Jenny. I agree that Jenny is unlikely to be found. :(

Although I am stepping out on a limb here, and others may disagree, I do feel that the court case is relevant to Jenny’s case. JR has said from the beginning that he fears Jenny is a victim of sex trafficking. Whether she was or not, visiting an Asian brothel in Seattle is potentially victimizing a woman or girl who may have been trafficked...someone like his wife might have been in Mexico. IMO it is tremendously disrespectful of the woman he claims to love and it puts him in the same category as those who might have used Jenny in the same way. I don’t mind shining a light on his case. JMO MOO

His case has now been been postponed until early March, about two years since Jenny began her travels in Mexico.
