Hermosillo (EFE). The authorities of Mexico They launched a search operation for a missing plane on Tuesday in the Gulf of California with at least two people on board after taking off from Hermosillo, in the northwestern state of Sonora.

The light aircraft, of the Cesna brand and of the Calafia airline took off on Tuesday morning from the Hermosillo airport to Guerrero Negro, state of Baja California Sur, and declared herself missing when she did not reach her destination.

I don't know if it's related but a couple days before (I think Sunday) I was on the beach at El Sargento, BCS when a Calafia Caravan passed south to north about 100 feet above the treetops, along the beach. No idea where it was going or coming from or if it was a sightseeing charter but the proximity to the buildings along the beach and terrain objects was very close. Seemed to be somewhat reckless operation.
