So the dogs were tracking her scent...and it lead them to this trailer with the blood?
What kind of dogs, do we know?

I wonder why none of the local news stations have picked up on this trailer/blood/woods search update of the case???
further thought.... I wonder if the dogs tracked to this trailer or it was found in a grid search of the woods?

I mentioned in an above post that, until today, I had heard nothing about this case from local (Detroit) news sources. I only knew about the west Michigan missing woman from Websleuths.

They are blood hounds. I gave the family the cell phone number of the director of Mid Michigan working dogs. I know both the dogs and the handlers.

According to the website:
Mid-Michigan Working Dogs provides Man- Trailing Bloodhounds, Air Scent And Human Remains Detection
Dogs

Does this make it unlikely that the dogs were responding to animal blood ?
Does their training in SAR teach them to respond to human related scents when working and to ignore animal related scents ?

At the time of the search that led the dogs to this trailer, is it likely that they were asked to find Amy's specific scent ?

Truck seen near Henslee home Monday

It was actually a relative of mine, a cousin," he said. "And he told me he came, but nobody was here. But the neighbor tells me that she seen a girl get in the truck, but she couldn't be 100% that it was Amy."

Now she was seen getting into a truck? That must be why LE said she left willingly, if true...and then something happened to her? Good Lord...

the lead from yesterday, according to LE at the presser, was several false sightings of Amy that didn't pan out ((they actually even went and reviewed tapes at stores, etc))

eta::: but ALSO could have been the relative/truck as they would not comment on it at all!

Who was she seen by getting into the truck? Does anyone know?

I believe it was a neighbour, that saw a 'girl' getting into the truck. But if they are remote and homes spaced apart it would have been hard to tell who it was.

But who else would it be?
