This might be a little premature, but does MI have the death penalty?
ETA: Nevermind, I just looked, no DP in MI.
No. Life without parole is the stiffest sentence.

Police sources report that a search warrant is being executed at the home of a missing 2-year-old.
I do wonder why searh warrant just being executed now...in the case of a child, why wouldn't this be done at once?
The police chief addressed that - I think - saying their main priority was finding Bianca alive, and then an investigation could take place later into other possible scenarios.
I think he really wanted ALL hands on deck pursuing the possibility of a live child, and now they're falling back to the other scenario - no carjacking.
I like that priority . . . the time critical search for a live child wandering around somewhere has ended, now they can take care of the less time-urgent task of investigating for a deceased one.

this is the MOM's house....
well that is kinda strange...
But what if she were still alive and inside the home?
Anyway it would not take that many officers to be doing a search inside while others start the process of looking for her and checking out the story outside...JMO

I wonder why they are searching the girls mothers home when she was staying with her dad the week prior to the alleged carjacking. Shouldn't they be searching the home she was staying at while visiting her dad? :waitasec:
:banghead:
FBI agents are searching for evidence at the Detroit home of missing 2-year-old Bianca Jones' father. Detroit Police investigators also have cordoned off a two-block area around the family's house on Custer, east of WoodwardDoes this article indicate they're searching BOTH homes?

I agree. He probably heard of little Mariha Smith's case and would possibly not leave Bianca in an abandoned home if he hoped she wouldn't be found.
There is no way he beat and killed her in that 2.5 hours between the time he left and the time he alleges the car was stolen. His other childs mother has to know what happened.
I also hope they used cadaver dogs on the car.
I'm hoping they are able to track him via survellience as well.
Was too tired to ask last night, but how did he call his girlfriend before calling LE? Did he use a cell phone or call his gf from Bianca's mothers home?
did we see this?
DPD along with State Police and FBI set their sites on a home near E. 7 Mile and Conant Sunday night looking for answers in the search for 2-year-old Bianca Jones.
Authorities would not say if they collected any evidence, or who lived in the house, but a neighbor tells Action News the father of missing Bianca, DAndre Lane, once stayed at the location.
