Found Safe MI - Brent Briggs, 44, LaFollette, 11 June 2017

The LaFollette Police Department is looking for a missing man they say is cognitively impaired and has anxiety.

Brent Anthony Briggs, 44, of Michigan, was last seen at Tennova Medical Center in LaFollette on June 11 at 4 p.m.

He is around 6-feet-3 and weighs about 190 pounds. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Appears he had a frustrating moment and ran away from home. He drove until he ran out of gas. Police picked him up and took him to the hospial. They released him without notifying anyone. Brent called some friends but they didn't understand the situation.

Oh my goodness, this is truly sad! Does anyone know of a more updated photo of BB? I have trouble believing that's a current picture of the 44 year old missing man, he looks very young.

Could he have been picked up by someone? Could he have even been picked up by LE from another jurisdiction? Honestly, unless there is a statewide BOLO, most departments don't know what's up from one to the next.

Just took a second look and looked at the Circumstances according to NamUs.

Briggs left his home on 6-6-17 and was upset.
Briggs has brain damage and is blind in one eye. Mental Capacity of a teenager and is not taking anxiety medications.
Vehicle was located in London, KY. On 6-11-17 he walked away from a medical center in Lafollette, TN.

-and still missing.
