MI MI - Brian Grocki, 14, Trenton, 1990

  • #41
I'm wondering if the friend changed his story or just added more info to it? Like, he added that bit about running away to make it sound like Brian had left the friend's home voluntarily to follow through with the running away plan.
If it was a change of story then why? Imo because he realised that his original statement that Brian left sometime between midnight and 1am might cause problems for him down the line. So I wonder, why might that be an issue?
And were there any parents in this friend's house at the time? Did no one question a kid going out at that time!
I can't help thinking parents acted to protect their own kids with this one.

This case reminds me of Gary Grant Jr. ... two little friends who apparently had no problems but something triggered one of them that made him kill him... maybe he died accidentally at the hands of his friend... he got scared and looked for a way to hide the body... maybe an adult helped him...
whatever the case
rest in peace

In the story the friend tells, I wonder where he claims they planned to go.
Poor Brian. I don't think he willingly "ran away."
I wish the POIs would be named by LE.
