Found Safe MI - Clarissa Thomas, 10, Hart, 21 August 2017

OCEANA COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) — UPDATE (12:30 p.m.) - Nine-year-old Charlotte Thomas has been found, according to police. Her sister, Clarissa, is still missing.

Nine-year-old Charlotte Thomas and 10-year-old Clarissa Thomas, both from the Hart area, were reported missing by police around 10 a.m. this morning.

Charlotte, was last seen wearing a blue skort and blue shirt. Her sister, Clarissa, was last seen wearing pink leggings and a pink shirt with "Elsa & Anna" on it from the movie Frozen.

The search is being conducted between the Hart and Mears area.

If anyone has information, please contact the Oceana County Sheriff's office or Mason/Oceana Central Dispatch.

Both found safe:

One of the girls came walking out of a wooded area near the farm where they live shortly after noon Monday, said Oceana County Sheriff Craig Mast.

The other girl was found about two hours later hiding in the same area by a Michigan State Police K-9 unit, Mast said.
The girls were dirty, tired and scratched but otherwise fine, Mast said. It was determined that they had run away from their home at 1 a.m., he said.
