She may have thought she could appeal to him and talk him through whatever was going on (just basing it on accounts made by friends of her sincerity). All MOO.

If DS was being forced to drive somewhere and she felt like her life was being threatened by someone in the car with her. Then why not purposely get into a small fender bender....pretend to pass out at the wheel...etc
That would get peoples attention (witnesses) and have police on sight in minutes. Enough to thwart any plan the perp had.

Hindsight is 20/20. It is easy for someone on the outside looking in to rationalize what they would do. But, our panicked brains don't rationalize. They react, typically in fight, flight, or freeze. It is impossible to know what one would do in a similar situation, especially because we have such limited information about what even occurred.

That was a rumor with zero back up. No cameras or security guard who couldn't recall.

Not just a casual drive with a guy in the completely opposite direction you need to go to meet up with your friend for dinner.

We don't know the answer to that. The only way it's a fact is if there is evidence of that or a camera picked her image up going in there.

So currently it's a rumor it also could have been a rumor created after the first search...people put two and two together.

These ppl know him well and I'm sure could shed some light on this dude.

I worry they'd only defend him. It's amazing how family and friends will defend someone even when everything points to that person. Even after a jury finds them guilty... :/

Agree. I see this all the time in cases of children alleging sexual abuse. Often, LE, CPS, family members, and friends look for any chance that the allegations could be untrue. They don't do it because they condone the alleged crime but because the crime seems so far out of the acceptable range for anyone, let alone someone they care about. Mentally healthy people don't want to believe anyone can commit heinous crimes and it is a defense mechanism to hold onto even the most unlikely glimmers of hope that it didn't happen. That is easier than accepting the unthinkable.

I don't know.
Id think they might distance themselves but they all can't be bad. I'm sure the cops have spoken to them if LE thinks SG is responsible.

Actually someone said it looked like Danielle. No one ever stated it was Danielle. It would be more accurate to say "there was a rumor that a person that looked like Danielle pulled into the apartment complex right before her own."

I live in Ohio and every other vehicle on the road is an SUV or crossover type of SUV. I have yet to see a Jeep renegade here of any color and I have been looking since this disappearance. Plenty of other Jeeps-- Cherokee, Patriot, Wranglers.... How ccommon is a black 2015 Jeep Renegade up there.
