Me too! They'd get plenty of tampons but that's about it from my purse. :floorlaugh:

I leave my purse in my car all the time. I sit it in the back seat and just grab my phone, key and wallet to run in places. In fact, that's where my purse is right now! Lol
I have a BMW and can not lock the car with the keys inside. I have to remove the fob for the car to lock.

Me, too. I have a very nice Lexus ... went to store one night ... thought the fob was in my purse ... it was in the center console ... so when I hit the lock button it didn't engage. Came out of store, looked all over in my purse for the key. Then it hit me. I think I turned 50 shades of green to grey to white. It was unlocked. With the key inside. Push button ignition. Easy peasy to steal. I almost had a heart attack. Anyway ... your post reminded me of that. :/

That is exactly how I found out as well!!

We're seeing all this movement in other cases but yet this one is sitting still
Since I came to WS from another crime board, I've seen so many of my cases have major breaks. Yet this one is stagnant

While I'm really happy for the families of the other cases ( at least some have answers) Danielle stislicki deserves to be found and I'm really really hoping that she's next.

I agree also. I pray she's found very soon. I follow Dani's case and Liberty & Abby's. Heart wrenching to say the least. Prayers that the ' s are found and held accountable.

It is disheartening to see the threads slow down somewhat. Sadly the information available is finite and we are left going round in circles. I suspect law enforcement are keeping a lot more close to their vests and don't want to show their hand at this time. I sincerely hope this is the case.

Burner phone - I consider this debunked.
Key chain - a distraction/irrelevant imo

I am intrigued by the possibility that someone else drove her car back to her apartment.
If this is still the belief, it implies she was intercepted or impeded between leaving work and her plan to stop off at the apartment momentarily.
If so, the assailant [or accomplice?] would have been without a vehicle and had to leave the area on foot. Did they call someone to come pick them up?
I'm sure the police have scoured video footage and cell phone activity in the area...

If someone drove her car back to her apartment they would have had to have personal knowledge of where she parked . Was the assailant stalking, an " acquaintance "?

I was using "they/them" in the singular as the perpetrator is not yet identified but it can also be taken as plural to incorporate a possible accomplice.

I think two people at most are involved.

If the perpetrator did in fact drive and park Dani's car in her usual spot, then I wonder if this was a lucky guess or if they utilised information gathered at an earlier time, such as seeing her car parked there multiple times when driving by. Either way, it serves to make it look like she made it home after all and creates distance from where the crime actually occurred.
Knowing the parking spot does lend credence to the perp knowing Dani, even if only from a distance. imo.

And just to clarify I think the accomplice became so after the fact and wasn't involved in the initial crime.

Now that I think of it, it would be risky for the perp to call and wait for someone to pick them up [not impossible but risky] so I am now taken with the idea that the accomplice could have followed behind Dani's car and once her car was parked at her building, the perp exited and made for the accomplices car nearby.

They are many other cases that are at a standstill with not much happening or the police know but aren't telling or no one knows except for the murderer(s) or abductors. I do believe however, that DS's case will be solved.

Actually the rule is if you feel it's agains the terms of service you don't quote it. You just alert and scroll by. Quoting makes the mod have to delete more if they do indeed decide to delete.

Just FYI- no snark intended. I'm guilty myself sometimes of quoting things that eventually get deleted. (Not saying the post in question will get deleted-staying out of that).
