This is a good article why people may prefer a prepaid/
burner phone to using an I Phone or Android.

I can understand the use of a burner phone but I'm older and it just seems too complicated. My T-mobile rep asked if I wanted to use my old phone (When I purchased
a new one )for 10 days. When I asked why would I want to do that, he brought up the Craig's list scenario.

Makes sense but I fear FB too.
I'll sometimes Slueth an "undesirable" only to have his/her picture appear on my "Do you know this person" and I freaked only because chances are my photo appeared on their FB page too. I have greatly tightened up my settings on FB but am debating whether to just delete it. It would be easy enough to figure out who I am and where I live. I haven't used it in 3 months, now.

DS had been w/ MetLife for 10 years? I can't help but think she was making decent money. Unless of course, she loans or gives money to siblings. She is the oldest of 4.

I started reading about the Berkley St incident around mid Dec. and the police presence there. That was almost 3 full months ago. One would think there would be some info back re that. And there well may be.

About her friend...and I really don't see anything nefarious there. But what I see is a relationship with a very troubled person suffering from terrible circumstances resulting out of questionable decisions. I wonder, would you automatically align yourself with that friend out of loyalty or would you be one who says, "I love you and you're my best friend but what is happening here is bad news and don't you need to think about letting go?

I wonder, did she ever leave the MetLife building for lunch? Seems like a good time to get errands done so she wouldn't have to worry about it later during rush hour, darkness and the freezing temps.

All of the above bugs me. Is it my age or is it my experience? Probably a combination of both.

But it all is my own speculation.

Anyway, here's the article:

I like your thoughts. I'm quoting you since you brought this up, not bc I'm trying to argue with your thinking or article. I never really thought of some of the reasons in the article. Unfortunately phone companies don't seem to offer good deals to single user providers. I have friends that joined family plans together to get a better deal bc when you go in alone, you often pay way too much. I recently changed providers and left my family plan that I've been paying into for years just bc it was way cheaper to do so then leave. I think if LE thought her phone was used for other purposes they probably wouldn't have released info to us about that. If I would've taken the time to look into prepaid phones more and found a good deal, I probably would've gone with one for no other reason then not wanting to pay the outrageous prices offered now to single users. :)

Thinking of Dani.

Just a reminder, I know it isn't even needed. No matter differentiating theories, there's only one young lady that remains the only reason we are all here! ❤❤❤

Hear, hear. I haven't posted lately, but I continue to think about Danielle every day. Despite the grim scenarios that I can't help but envision, I continue to hope that somehow she will be found safe. I don't generally have much faith in LE, but the Stislicki family seems to, so I am trying to be patient and follow their lead.

I agree

I still don't understand why they aren't calling for ground/water searches.

I watched Dateline this weekend it was the Sarah Goode story. She actually looks a bit like Dani and then I started thinking of the similarities in their cases.

Yet she was found quickly because they searched the woods immediately- family organized I think.

Take a look at her case, it definitely made me think of Dani.

They do really look similar, especially in certain photos. I also cannot wrap my head around why they aren't searching, I'd like to think that it's because they have strong reason to believe she's not in the area, but at this point, I just don't know what they do have...kind of seems like nothing.

What if he has nothing to do with it? I think the SIL is a flake, she has her own reasons for making such a stink.

I think he is involved just my opinion. Call me crazy but I believe the SIL.

If you look at Google earth at SG's home, there is nothing but the rink to the left (while facing the home), and nothing behind the house. If it is dark by 5:15pm, I think her car would be tough to see much less identify.

I disagree, there is neighbors across the street and next door I believe. At 5:15 not pitch black out yet. I know even if it is dark out I could see my neighbors driveway next door and across the street. Now there is a street light near my house so that helps some, so I guess depends on any lighting also.

Flake or not... it doesn't matter. LE had enough cause for a judge to agree with a search warrant twice (maybe more) long before SIL spoke out.

I think they know who did it, why it was done and and just not where someone took her, but there is a fly in the ointment because someone flubbed up and things didn't go as planned.Somebody goofed on the instructions. This of course is all just my own opinion, no inside info or anything like that. Just playing the story out. Every case has a story. You just have to build that story. Much like what everyone here does trying to get the puzzle pieces to fit together.

I think he has been doing this type of thing for a while. Maybe he waits Thursday evening outside of MetLife. He goes at around five when the day shift is leaving, and he waits for a pretty young lady to follow home. He is planning on coming back tomorrow night to be waiting in the parking lot. He has some ploy like he's having car trouble, he needs help finding his dog, or kid. He asks to use her phone because his is dead. After he has her phone, he sets into action. He is skilled so he already has something to stuff in her mouth so she can't scream. He has done it so many times he has the perfect set up to abduct someone at anytime. He prefers Friday night, hoping he has a few days before anyone notices. He has many avenues and skeems, and tricks to lure his victims. The FBI is involved because its more than some security guard at a hospital. Just saying, and this guy is no beginner.
