There is no "IF he were involved" now. There is no way anyone can say he might still be innocent in Danielle's disappearance.

On the contrary, many people can and will say he MIGHT still be innocent.

Whether or not he is guilty of Dani's disappearance is to be determined in a court of law.

Agree. Given the information known so far, though, I'm making an assumption (we know how that goes!) that they have good evidence to link him to her case. I hope ultimately for justice to be served and catching the wrong guy will not be justice. I'm trusting in the police and prosecutor and am anxious to learn what evidence they have. His current charges are frightening and IF DNA linked him to that assault, it makes me sick to think what could have happened to Dani.

Mrs. Stislicki mentions in the WDIV interview yesterday that she had many interactions with FG. She said that he was friendly, approachable, and made sure that employees got to their vehicles safely. Sounds like folks were generally unsuspecting that FG could do harm to anyone. Yeah, right.

Presumably, FG is still in jail. I wonder if anyone will come up with $750K to bail him out?

In cases where a suspect has not yet been identified, biological evidence from the crime scene can be analyzed and compared to offender profiles in DNA databases to help identify the perpetrator. Crime scene evidence can also be linked to other crime scenes through the use of DNA databases.

So my assumption is that since search warrants were issued for his home and stuff, that could be viewed as the "crime scene" since we really don't know what it is that they saw in there or found. The DNA from the jogging assault was in the system already and then it produced a hit? Even though he wasn't charged for that or named a POI, they have evidence a crime was committed within his home. I think for this case they are waiting for her/her body so they can charge him "fully" for what he did.

But then what I don't understand is...today on the news they said Allen Park Police are going to send in the DNA from a sexual assault that happened there this month, to see if it is a match. Why wouldn't it already be there or would it have to be retested or something else? Maybe it was just the way they stated it on the news, since it doesn't say that in the article. But that didn't make sense to me, if the DNA taken from the jogger incident is what the connection was to Dani.

I saw something similar somewhere yesterday, and wondered the same thing. Then I found the article below:
"Meanwhile, Allen Park police are investigating a potential connection between the Livonia case and one of their cases.
'We have items of evidence from our case that we are sending to the lab to see if it can be tied to the individual arrested in Livonia,' Chief James Wilkewitz said in a statement. 'It will be some time before we have the lab results and we have no further comment at this time.'" (BBM)

This leads me to believe the evidence from the Allen Park case has yet to be analyzed, including any DNA that may have been collected.

The sexual assault in Allen Park took place on June 10th, while the one in Livonia happened on Sep. 4. I suspect the analysis of the evidence from the latter case was completed just recently, and when the results were entered into the DNA database, it matched Galloway's DNA that had been recovered during one of the searches of the Berkely property, one of the cars seized, etc. So assuming that it took Livonia 9 or so months to get the results back, it may take as long for Allen Park to get their results back, as alluded to by Chief Wilkewitz in the above quote.

I agree with you M2C.

We can all make assumptions but keeping emotion out of it is crucial to seeing ALL the facts clearly. Emotions cloud the mind not only in accusing the wrong person but in not seeing all the facts that make the right person accused the guilty party. Look at all the hung juries on record. I'm hoping for justice to be served as well. I am also hoping LE is on target here.

Or had someone pick him up. Set up the scene so it looks like she made it home and something happened so time is lost focusing on the area that distracts from what really happened. I very much believe there is a huge piece that detectives know that we don't, hence the search warrants. It seems obvious but a lot of people also thought "LE had nothing and was sitting around not doing anything" and now everyone's signing a different tune. I know he technically hasn't been charged for this case but they have him in a good spot I guess you could say.

I also still think that man that was reported asking for a specific building has a role in this somehow. Does Floyd throw someone else under the bus now that he is potentially locked up for awhile with this other case? I feel another shockwave will be hitting us soon just as this jogging incident did.

Ah I see. I just didn't know if perhaps there was more to it. I know Floyd's wife has leukemia and HIV Is associated with an increase risk of leukemia. ... I just didn't know the relevance for the testing....Thanks for responding.

Imo, if he planned this he could have done that purposely to throw off investigators. Knowing at some point family and friends would realize she is missing the logical first step to look would be her apartment. If her jeep with belongings is there it seems the focus would be put there first. When, possibly the crime took place elsewhere allowing more time for whatever he had planned.

Took place in IGA parking lot around 6 pm. AA was on the phone with a friend and noticed a man looking around and he approached her. She had a gut feeling something was off. He asked about if this was such and such building but never said exactly what building in complex. AA kept talking on her phone and he took off very quickly getting into and driving a vehicle with out of state license plates. AA said in no way did he resemble Floyd...but never gave us a description as it could have compromised the ongoing case.

One detail I remember AA saying was that when the man approached her and asked her something, he did NOT see that she was on the phone. As soon as he saw she was on the phone is when he quickly left and sped off in a vehicle. IIRC, AA didn't answer his question because he abruptly left as soon as he saw she was on her phone.

I looked back and reread a lot of AA posts. There was a lot of talk about the suspicious person (who was definitely not FG) potentially driving a rental car due to out of state plates. If the encounter was related to Dani's disappearance, and if this was a rental vehicle with an accomplice, the whole thing would have had to be very premeditated, IMO. She said this took place around 6:15. That's not a lot of time between Dani last being seen and someone obtaining a rental car and getting roped into being an accomplice.
