I always thought FG's wife was at the main Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and not one of the satellites. Read it somewhere but might not have been a MSM source, so I'm not stating this as fact.

Depending on what time FG "finished" whatever was done to Danielle, it might have been too late for transportation via Smart Bus. Most suburban routes have limited access and don't run into late night hours.

BBM - I am going to take my cue from Dani's mother and let this work through the channels and not make it a witch hunt as she called it.

DNA can be found in a multitude of places.

I am a very patient person.
I can wait for all the facts to be presented.
I can wait until he is CHARGED.
I can wait for a trial

As I said in my post, I think we should all heed Mrs. Stislicki's way of thinking.

I can wait for none of the above :)

That actually makes me sad K.

We've both been here from the start. You have displayed enormous passion towards this case. We're all here for justice. We're here for Danielle, the Stislicki's and Holocene.

IMO as I stated, I'm taking my cue from Mrs. S.

I pray justice will come in due time.

It's sad to me too. I'm annoyingly impatient but I just feel that what I think is the obvious truth. I'm happy to be wrong, trust me - I want this to all be wrong and for Dani to be alive somewhere, away by her own free will. I just don't think I'm wrong, as much as I want to be.

I sense we are all on the same page here.

Patience K, patience! :waiting:

Her parents have been really clear that they do not feel Danielle will be found alive, and what they are hoping for is resolution and justice. :(

I know :( It's so awful. I cannot imagine what that feels. My heart goes out to the Stislicki's.

This is a link posted by her family last night, for anyone still wondering if DNA really connected the two cases, how an abductor would know to show up outside her office because she left early, or anyone still doubting that FG has been named a person of interest in the case.

http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/danielle-stislicki-missing-case-what-we-know

From the article (BBM -- and snipped to avoid copyright violation):

"It's been a big week for the investigation into Danielle Stislicki's disappearance, with police naming a person of interest who was arrested in a separate case. <snip>

Stislicki left work about 5 p.m. that day. However, she never showed up to dinner and did not communicate to her friend. <snip>

Officers carried a mattress out of the home, and the Defenders learned that some floorboards were confiscated by authorities and sent off for testing. Sources told Local 4 that police also removed a car from the garage. <snip>

Livonia police arrested a man Tuesday in connection with a sexual assault at Hines Park, and a DNA test linked him to Stislicki's disappearance as a person of interest.

Floyd Russell Galloway, 30, is charged with kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct with intent to commit penetration, and assault with intent do great bodily harm by strangulation in connection to the attack on Sept 4, 2016.

Galloway is the former security guard at Stislicki's office who lives at the Berkley home that was searched. <snip>

Rich and Anne Stislicki opened up about the case for the first time since Galloway was named a person of interest in their daughter's disappearance. They were careful with their words, but they hope this could be the break in the case they've been praying for. <snip>

The Stislickis said there was a very important reason they didn't attend Galloway's arraignment on Wednesday.

"It's not about Danielle at this time," Rich Stislicki said. 'There will be that moment, but this time it's about that person from Hines Park who made it out alive and was able to talk.' <snip>

'I was happy they had somebody and they were going to take them temporarily off the street,' Rich Stislicki said. 'It's a direction -- move forward instead of moving behind.'

'I always say Danielle's had boundaries and was graceful how she presented herself,' Anne Stislicki said. 'I do this with Danielle in mind. We need to remain graceful and focus. This is not a witch hunt. This will go through legal challenges the way it should be.'

The Stislickis want to remind everything that the case is still open. They still need more tips, more people to come forward and to find their daughter."

Even though the odds were against it, I was really hoping there would not be a DNA match, for Danielle's sake! My thoughts and prayers go out to Danielle, her family and friends!

Just catching up and glad to see the announcement of POI, finally, even though we all here had our own opinions already.
I admire Mr and Mrs Stislicki so much for their class act during this horrific time. I honestly don't know if I could portray the patience and class they are showing. I'm sure they have their moments inside the privacy of their home but what they are showing on the outside says a whole lot about this family.
Prayers continuing for answers and strength for Danielle and her family.

Link please?
I ask because I have not seen where they've given up hope of finding her alive.

Thank you Skigirl, for this link. I'm sorry to have snipped it as I really appreciate your entire post. I'm jumping off yours though to add some thoughts of my own.

I've posted little but have followed Danielle's disappearance from the beginning. Danielle touched my heart as she has countless others. Her radiance literally jumped off the page! Every photo, every video. There's not been a day I haven't thought about her.

Then to watch her parents during this horrible ordeal. The epitome of dignity and kindness. Their love for their daughter is so deep, it's beyond words. Danielle has been truly blessed to have them for parents.

I've read all the theories about Danielle and FG, and honestly, I've clenched my teeth while reading some. Let me just say, this is all my opinion only. Everyone is entitled to theirs too and I respect that. I also realize FG has not been convicted in a court of law, and the legal process has to unfold.

However, my theory is Danielle gave FG a ride home out of the kindness of her heart. I think he was obsessed with her and planned this ruse under false pretenses. I have never believed that Danielle did anything to put herself in harm's way, or to encourage FG in the wrong way. I don't believe she had an inappropriate relationship with him.

If her vibrant and radiant personality was obvious to US, mere strangers, how much more it must have been apparent to those around her. Like gazing at a sparkling diamond!

Bet he was dazzled by her as well, and probably did try to entice her into a relationship. My belief is she turned him down, kindly, but firmly.

I'm even more convinced of this after reading the above article, and the following words of Ann Stislicki about Danielle.

".... I always say Danielle had boundaries, and was graceful how she presented herself..."

This jumped off the page at me! I believe she's telling us that Danielle would not have agreed to an affair with FG, a married man. She's also saying Danielle would have been respectful of FG's feelings in turning down his overtures.

I believe FG could not stand the rejection though. I think he fumed and raged inside while he made the decision and planned her abduction.

(By the way, I know I can use his name now instead of initials, but for some reason, I just can't bring myself to even say his name, much less write it.)

I'm truly devastated about what happened to Danielle. I keep hoping for that miracle that maybe somewhere she's being held and may still come back. My heartfelt prayer is that she is found and justice will be done.

Sorry for my lengthy post, but I just want Danielle's family to know that Danielle will never be forgotten, nor will their dignity and grace...

He cannot request a removal from the database. Once he provides the court mandated sample, as was requested during his arraignment, his DNA is in there for life.

If I recall correctly, in the Chelsea Bruck case, they collected DNA from her costume that didn't match anything in the database. Her killer was later arrested on an unrelated theft charge and his DNA was taken at that time.

Once his DNA was in the database, it popped up as a match to the unknown DNA found on Chelsea's items. Boom. He went down for her murder

Actually, in Michigan, you can request a removal of your DNA from the database, in very limited circumstances, which I do not believe will apply in this case. Essentially, if the court mandates a sample and you are acquitted or all charges are dropped against you, the sample is supposed to be destroyed. Not really relevant here but still.

In the quiet of the evening and my thoughts go to Danielle, I am inspired to see if I can connect to her spirit essence. Taking a favorite photo of her and trying to create a likeness of her, I begin to draw. She is such a lovely person who sends to all who know or are acquainted with her, a special vibe of happiness and light. While drawing, I try to connect with her in hopes that she will show me some kind of inner knowing of where she is. So far the connection is still to come and so I wait like all of you who wish the same thing.Tears fall at the thought of her and how by some act of GOD she will be found. The statement that to be empathetic is wonderful for those who are deserving of our concerns but it also is hard when you are empathetic to those who may not deserve it but you see concern there as well. I guess that is what it means to be human. Each one of us has a soul given to us as perfect at birth, but somewhere along the way it gets lost and can not be found again. I suppose this is what happens when someone becomes lost to their own life's spirit. The truth someday will become known. I put Forget-Me-Not flowers in her hair instead of what flowers were showing in the original picture. It just seems to fit somehow.

My memory is fuzzy, so my apologies if I am remembering incorrectly, but I think you once stated you are an attorney.

What are your thoughts on how LE might have been able to identify Galloway's DNA and been able to use it against him in the Hines Park case?

I am assuming here that he has never consented to a voluntary DNA test. The possibility still exists (e.g., I have no idea if one would be required to, but say, he was in order to volunteer as an EMT), but unlikely, IMO. Still, in the example above, would his DNA profile be entered into CODIS at that point, and would the DA be allowed to present it as evidence in order to at least charge him with a crime, and specifically, in MI?

It has been reported over 60 search warrants have been executed in Danielle's case. Say a male DNA was found found on multiple items (e.g., a dirty cup in the sink, a toothbrush, a comb, etc.) seized during one of the searches of his residence, in which case, it would be reasonable to assume, IMO, that the DNA belongs to Galloway. If so, would the search warrant allow the DNA evidence to be entered into CODIS, and are the DA(s) allowed to use it against him not only in Danielle's case, but in other criminal cases as well (e.g., Hines Park and possibly Allen Park) from that point on?

There has been much debate about how DNA evidence has been used to connect the Hines Park case to Danielle's case, and I'm just trying to think of possible scenarios.

I think -though as a layperson- the Oakland County DA has been very shrewd in building a case against Galloway in Danielle's case. One thing that stands out to me in particular is the fact that Galloway has now been ordered by a judge to submit to a DNA -and a HIV- test. LE will now have DNA that irrefutably belongs him, rather than samples found on items collected during searches. I was afraid that a decent defense attorney might be able to convince a jury there is no way to tell definitively that the samples collected from the Berkely house belong to Galloway, that for example, he had a friend (or especially a relative, who may share a similar DNA profile) staying with him, and thus the DNA from the samples belong to the friend/relative; this type of argument might be employed by the attorney to defend him in almost any case in which a DA may choose to introduce DNA as evidence against him also.

His fate is pretty much sealed, however, and Danielle has not only saved many women from being victimized, but very likely lives as well. I will never forget Dani.
