We all want the same thing. Dani to be found and get the Justice she and her loved ones deserve.
I don't believe he should have the right to anything. Other than a painful death. But then again, I side with the victim.
I'm listening to the "In the Dark" podcast about Jacob Wetterling and one man that seemed obvious in many people's eyes, was innocent. But for 28 years, his life was significantly impacted because he was listed as a "person of interest" in Jacob's case.
I'm not saying that is the case here with Floyd and I absolutely agree that there are many things we do know that suggest his involvement, but there is a whole lot more we don't know and I'd prefer to let the system work to ensure a conviction for both the Hines park crime and In Dani's case.

In that case, Jacob was allegedly last seen at the end of the POI's driveway, so yes there was suspicion he was last seen by him. This was in 1989. The case was just solved last year.In that case did the POI take Jacob to his house and seen by neighbors? If so, was that the last place Jacob was seen alive? Was his DNA connected to Jacob somehow?
Do we not have DNA here though? I assume they didn't in that case.
We do have DNA, just yesterday the prosecutor stated that they have cell phone pings placing Floyd in the area of the attack on the jogger and she said Floyd's DNA was found on the joggers shorts. IMO, that's pretty damning evidence. The article I am linking below has the video of the court proceeding that took place yesterday.

And there's also this.

"They checked DNA they found on the victim with DNA they found in the Stislicki case," said local community editor Brad Kadrich.
And the results?
"There was a match between the two cases," said Chief Caid. "This is the right guy."

Thanks, BloodHound. I had forgotten about the phone pings. We don't know anything about phone pings for Floyd or Dani's phones on the night she went missing do we?
I believe the most info we have in MSM about this is from the recent Crime Watch Daily videos where they explicitly stated the offender DNA from the jogger case was matched to DNA collected in Dani's case. I don't recall them stating where the matching DNA from Dani's case originated. I think most are assuming from FG's house because we know his house was searched and we know his DNA would be all over his house. But who knows, there could also have been DNA discovered in her vehicle or apartment.Do we know yet where exactly the DNA match to Dani's case came from? I have not seen any MSM source spell this out, only that details were read into the record during the preliminary examination for the Hines Park case. I interpret this to likely mean that the DNA was collected from FG's own home. Or does someone else have more specific and/or contradictory information?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I am a former resident of W. Bloomfield and Royal Oak, and all points in between. I heard about this on the news down here in TN, but haven't heard anything in a long time. My friend Kelley Brownlee has been missing since 1983, and I saw this link posted to her page.
I was trying to catch up by reading the threads.
So, they have a suspect in custody, but they haven't found her or her body? This case made me so sad when I saw it on the news here. She was such a beautiful young girl with such a bright light in her eyes. This makes me so sad. I was hoping she had been found alive. God bless you all. I wish I was back home. :'(
This is also my understanding. Obviously, his own DNA would be in his home, so while this much more definitively links him to the Hines case, I haven't seen anything to suggest "this is our guy" in Dani's case. Hence, no charges, yet. Hoping if he is responsible, that evidence surfaces soon so charges can be made. And most of all, hoping for Dani to be located. I cannot imagine the agony her family goes through each day that passes without knowing what happened to her or where she is.Do we know yet where exactly the DNA match to Dani's case came from? Oh I'm confident they have much more than we know! Absolutely. I just disagree on your interpretation of the "we have the right guy" comment. I am not saying he isn't the "right guy" in Dani's case, too, but that has yet to be determined with information known to the public. ETA: The match IMO can mean as much as having Floyd's DNA that was collected from his home during Dani's investigation. I disagree that it guarantees they have Dani's DNA. The connection is that without the DNA collected in Dani's case, Floyd's DNA would not be in the database for a match. Jmo.Just because you haven't seen anything that links Floyd to both cases, doesn't mean the evidence doesn't exist. Law enforcement is building a case and as such, they have no obligation to release everything they have to the public. Furthermore, they are not going to charge him until they feel they are done building their case because they only get one shot to ensure a proper conviction.
Please read again what the police chief said.

"A match between the two cases" would not be possible without Danielle's DNA, the jogger's DNA and Floyd's DNA all being part of the evidence. If all they had was Floyd's DNA and the jogger's DNA, that would not add up to a match between the two cases. Keep in mind, they removed floorboards and a mattress! More than likely, there were bodily fluids on one or both of those items. So, even though it hasn't been confirmed, I tend to believe they have more than just Floyd's DNA.
