Okay - so the dates @Bravo gave are OLD dates. I do see he did have a hearing 10/25 & haven't gone back to look at the 9/9 one.

So - I shall change my stuff back to trial starting on 4/20/20 - Thanks @abeaman02 !

We used to get Oakland Press but no longer wanted "hard copy" newspapers. I miss The Eccentric, too. We subscribe to NYT now and can still read The Detroit News online. So much to read - so little time

Trial Delayed For Man Accused Of Killing Danielle Stislicki

FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - A trial for the man accused of killing missing Farmington Hills woman Danielle Stislicki has been delayed for a few months.

An Oakland County Circuit Court docket shows Floyd Galloway's trial, which was scheduled to start next Monday, is now scheduled to begin April 20...

ETA: The trial was originally set to begin on Monday - my birthday. I will be away but had planned to keep up with the trial here and in local media. I looked forward to winter "pajama days" watching the trial and participating in Websleuths discussion of the case. April 20 seems so far away...

*Preliminary Hearing (@ am ET) - MI - Danielle “Dani” Stislicki (28) (Dec. 2, 2016, Southfield, not found) - *Floyd Russell Galloway, Jr. (30/now 33) charged (9/11/19) & indicted (3/4/19) & arraigned (3/6/19) & re arraigned (9/19/19) with 1st degree premeditated murder. Plead not guilty. Bond denied-Held without bond.
Trial was set to begin on 1/27/20 moved to 4/20/20 (thru 5/1/20).

10/25/19 Update: Hearing continued to 12/12. 11/5/19: Media request granted. 12/12/19: Hearing held. Media coverage request filed. The judge granted the defense an extension to prepare for the case. The new trial dates will be April 20th thru May 1st, 2020.
12/27/19 Update: Motion filed for film/media coverage. 1/16/20: Trial continuance-granted. 1/21/20: Media request-granted.
1/29/20 Update: Preliminary hearing on 1/29. Farmington Hills 47th District Court Judge James Brady for a preliminary hearing. Brady determined there was “overwhelming evidence” to bind the case over to Oakland County Circuit Court. Galloway’s trial was originally slated for the week of Jan. 27, but it was adjourned to 8:30 a.m. April 20 in front of Judge Phyllis McMillen. Next hearing on 2/11/20.

I can't wait for this trial. I'm sure a lot of info will come out. I wish they could find Dani. Unfortunately, I don't think she will ever be found.
