I was just on there and the page is still there, but they took that post down. Instead they have posted repeatedly to not post anything until there has been official news released... but MSM has already shown a picture of the house and specified the street it is on.

I noticed the owner of the house (EG) at the address published, which was listed in that Berkley FB post for a brief period, follows the Berkley page. So more than likely that's why the post went *poof*.

How long does DNA/blood evidence stay on a surface? (If)They pulled out a mattress, what time period are we talking that forensics could be applied?

They are two separate cities and do not share a police department. There is nothing in the weekly bulletins but they did post this on their page. Couldn't figure out how to link it but here is a screenshot.

I know. I meant I was hoping for finding something, but realized it was not the city she was from, being it was just Farmington, not FHills.

DNA etc. a very looooong time. Sorry I am multi tasking here. I am going from memory and other cases. It also depends on how much and what it has been exposed to. Being a mattress inside a house that's a good scenario. Think cold cases solved since the science improved. As long as it's collected and stored properly. Again a looooong time.

Likely they'll have someone on the scene, I'm waiting for 4 pm.

Someone on Berkeley site just said it's not the owners that live there, that it's renters

Farmington Hills Police released the statement on the heels of searching a Berkley home for clues regarding Stislicki's disappearance.

Below please find Farmington Hills Police Chief Chuck Nebus' full statement on the 'three week update' of Stislicki's case as of Dec. 23:
“Farmington Hills detectives and members of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Crime Lab were at a home in Berkley last night investigating the disappearance of Danielle Stislicki. Farmington Hills detectives and investigators from several other agencies have been involved in searches and the collection of evidence at numerous locations over the past three weeks. Detectives, evidence technicians and crime lab personnel from several law enforcement agencies have been working tirelessly and remain committed to finding Danielle and solving this case. The investigation has been progressing since day one. I understand a caring public and media are anxious for information. However, no information will be released regarding the specifics of the case in order to maintain the integrity of the investigation.

We are still receiving daily tips on the case and we continue to encourage anyone with information to contact the FHPD Command Desk at (248) 871-2610. Tipsters may remain anonymous. Reward money from Independence Green Apartments ($50,000), MetLife ($50,000) and a family friend’s GoFundMe page totals $129,000.”

(sorry if already posted, on catch up)
