I know this was talked about a little, but I don't recall the answer to my question, which is, does IG hire security to walk/drive the apartment premises?

Good question. I have security at my apartment and I love and hate it. I don't think I've seen that her apartment complex had security ... was it gated at all? I've driven past it but cannot recall.

After he was named person of interest. Was able to see his profile and his friends' profiles. Once he name broke his friends list went away in short order. Now I can't even find his profile, was able to up until yeasterday I think.

Do you have a link handy for when he was named POI specifically?

Newbie here, brought here by a comment on the FDS page that's since been deleted, naming the POI. I did some researching and wound up here, and about 5 hours later, here I am commenting. I am Danielle's age, and this has hit home for me because I am similar in demeanor, and have many conversations weekly with friends, acquaintances, and sometimes even strangers. The nativity in some can be a great quality, because it allows you to see the best in people, and in this case, your worst enemy.

I do have a few thoughts after researching certain pages, and my opinion does not stem from race. POI has siblings on certain pages with locations posted in Detroit. The fact the POI was located in a more affluent area doesn't mean he couldn't have taken DS to someone he knew that would keep quiet and hide or worst case scenario get rid of her (obviously hoping latter is not the case). BUT, the fact that FPD has been tight lipped, to me, like others, shows they've had someone in mind. The one thing that the public has been asked of is to blast her picture everywhere. Why if they have a suspect in mind, unless they thing she was passed off along the way and could still be out there.

Again like others have said, her family seems to have utmost confidence in law enforcement agencies working on this case because they have remained tight lipped, removed any comments that could be damaging, and really have pushed for her name and who she was to be available to the public. I hope someone, somewhere, can give a clue or theory that sticks with police, and that if that the POI is indeed responsible, for the sake of DS's family and his own, that he owns up to what he's down and gives these families the little peace that they will be able to have.

No security on site, walking or driving. Maintenance is out and about until about 5pm in golf carts and a mini-van. The leasing office is open until 6pm on Fridays.

I saw this on another post and can't figure out how to quote two at once: Not a gated community. There are, I believe, five driveways into the complex (Off the top of my head I can't remember if there are two or three exits into Grand River because I never go out of those due to heavy traffic). One of those is marked as belonging to Windemere apartments but it filters into IGA.

No security cameras throughout the complex. It was a topic of conversation in my building a few months ago because there were some crimes of opportunity with petty thefts involving people leaving their cars unlocked. People were all up in arms about how there were no cameras so LE had nothing to go on and how they were not at fault because "they shouldn't have to lock their doors in Farmington Hills."

Just when the address went public in the MSM and other pages filled in the blanks. Cross references off the internet lead to FG as current resident based on voters registration. If the net is out of date, he's getting a whole lot of unwanted attention. What I can't figure out is why I can't seem to find previous residences. My own name results in most of my previous addresses. Figure it may be an alternative location he was comfortable with.

Crazy to me that nicer end apartment complexes don't invest in basic cameras! I live in a nice neighborhood in Los Angeles now and our gated complex doesn't have cameras, not even one. Even though, just like IGA, we have had several issues.

That said, if there were cameras, seems like the footage would be grainy and useless like it is sooo many times in these cases. Frustrating. :(

I did the googling to figure out who he was, but to my knowledge he has not been named a poi by msm or police, is that right?

Welp. They are now donating 50k. So hopefully cameras and guards will soon follow.

Correct. Address made SM, picture and house street made MSM. Name came from searches.

They did fix the security lights by my building that have been burned out for like a year and a half so It's sad to say this was probably a pretty big wake up call for them. Fingers are still crossed for cameras in the near future.

Does anyone know how much information WAS available online regarding FG before he kind of deleted everything and went underground when his name got out there? The reason I ask that is that I find it almost peculiar how little information is obtainable on him, and I don't just mean personal pages that he has the power to delete. With most people you find random pages tied to former employers, things they were a member of, etc etc. With him its like total radio silence. All thats really out there is the fact that he appears to coach a youth baseball team. But besides that, theres literally nothing. I just wonder if thats unusual because like I said...most people have a much larger digital footprint. Maybe I'm reaching here or maybe he did a great job getting rid of his footprint fast, but it just strikes me as odd.

Did FG try to eliminate his online footprint (delete social media) before, or after this case gained attention? Do we have a time frame on that? What and when (if anything) was deleted?

I think he did. Before his fb changed to private the last anything I found was a local beer pong tourney from end of November.

I don't think there was a whole lot on this guy. A FB page that was updated a bit, you could see his friends list & get his address details. But other than that he was a bit of a digital ghost anyway. Someone correct me if I'm wrong and you delved deeper and found more.

His wife has been supposedly very ill for a while. Plus he was employed.

So I doubt he was posting alot on the Internet.

But idk since I never seen his fb page.

My siblings have similar career paths as FG and have virtually no online existence besides FB. They don't own anything and have not had many accounts in their names. Similar for my sister in law who is a stay at home mom. I think this is more common than it may seem.

With such a high profile case the attorney could be doing for free just for getting his name out there. Free publicity.

I used to work in the building for MetLife. Large 6 story bhilding. MetLife is the largest tenant, however, there are other tenants in the building. I was advised by a friend who still works in the building security cameras only in the front of the building...none in the back where DS parked.

Last I checked this is Websleuths Not reddit.

Do not bring reddit here.

Also, leave EG out of the discussion. There is absolutely no reason to bring her into it.

If you can't adhere to the rules then you risk the temporary loss of posting privileges.

Thanks

My experience with attorney working working for "free" meant only they did not charge their fee for their time - but still had to pay for other charges made by their office such as what they had to pay getting records, copying, etc...
