If she was being chased or followed and turned in on purpose, don't you think she would have told the attendant at gate that she was concerned for her safety and please call 911? As a matter of fact if she knew she was being followed or chased wouldn't she call 911 herself? Unless someone was in her vehicle, but why wouldnt she just jump out at that point? I think I would take the chance of jumping, doesn't mean someone else would though.

She may have turned in to lose the car following her. She may have felt it was co incidence the vehicle was tailing her and pulled in to lose the vehicle, then continued. She sounded frightened so if she was being tailed why not say I think I am being tailed, the only reason would be that she thought it a co incidence. I can't see why she would pull in if someone was hiding in the back seat and not have jumped out as you say. I would. I have been tailed and pulled off road to a hotel to try and lose them, thinking I was imagining that the car was tailing me. I wasn't. MOO

I totally agree that if my tenant in my home was a POI I'd be publically saying that it wasn't me! Maybe people would remain quiet if it was a friend or a family member though? Or if they'd been asked to by the police, for whatever reason? Pretty sure I'd still try to leak it though...!

I'm not saying she was frazzled by street layouts, I'm saying she may be frazzled by a prior incident causing her to miss her turn...

Not sure what you're saying.

I think that's the point. I'm not as familiar with that exact area but from what I'm understanding, this wouldn't be the turn she'd make if she were frazzled.

Very plausible, indeed. However, I'm still not convinced that SG is not involved with Danielle's, dinner friend's, incarcerated, ex boyfriend that has been charged with homicide in his 10 week old son's death. MH is a habitual offender with a dark background. She could have easily been called as a witness in that trial (when it actually goes to trial) the postponement dates of the hearings/trial and her "gone missing" date are oddly coincidental. If SG really needed money, if wife is ill as it has been said, that could be motivation enough to be involved. Wayne County Jail has a lot of transient workers that come and go... Whose car is the third?

I wish MSM was reporting more on how SG and DS knew each other. Maybe a friend of a friend...I have wondered if dinner companion's partner/ex-partner might have needed help because he was unable to harm DS on his own. Maybe that's how SG fits in. Maybe knowledge of the dinner plans/leaving early somehow got to partner/ex-partner and then to SG.

Possible idea:
SG moves up from Building security to county or where ever this guy is being held?

How much money (where would ex get cash?) or how desperate to remove a potential witness?

I was wondering something along the same lines. Someone I know is a prison official. I have heard lots of stories that would make the hair on the back of your neck stand on end. The line between guard and prisoner can be terrifyingly thin; corruption is rampant, and the above sounds like it could only happen in movies, but things like it happen every day. That's why prisons are full of drugs. Guards/prisoners collude.

If anyone took screenshots of FG FB, September/October might be interesting to look at.

Not necessarily. I've had 2 experiences when I thought someone was following me. The first time, they were and I should of called 911. It was screwed up and to this day I wish I had trusted my gut to call 911 instead of allowing my partner to attempt losing the psycho because I've always wondered what this person's intentions were once they got to us, whether it was just to scare the heck out of us or something worse.

The 2nd time I noticed a car followed every single turn I made for miles and miles, even when I turned down my own street but I still worried that I was just being silly and that time it turned out that the car was visiting my neighbors house but it was quite odd to see a car follow you through so many turns on the main road and then a few turns on the side street and then actually turn down the street you live on, I felt unsure if it was just coincidence or if I was actually being followed. I told myself that if they were still behind me when I was at my house I'd keep going instead of turning into my driveway and call my mom or 911 but then they turned into the driveway of my neighbors and I felt pretty silly for being so freaked out.

My point is that some people, even if they have a bad feeling, can question themselves into thinking they are just overreacting. Maybe she saw a car following her but wasn't positive so she turned just to see if he would turn too and he didnt, so she figured it was ok when really he didn't follow because he knew that wasn't her apartment complex plex or saw the gate attendant and kept going to IGA knowing she'd show up eventually..meanwhile him not turning in made her feel it was just her overreacting like I felt

Still catching up, so forgive me if this has already been discussed. LE has been very tight lipped about the investigation. Today, they release just a tiny bit more. Why? My guess is to get a reaction from the POI. It's my understanding that FG's FB page went inactive for some time after the search. Then it suddenly came back online recently. Has anyone checked since today's new info? I don't actually know FG's name, so I can't check myself.

Could be that there are a lot comments on SM and a lot of questions. It might be just a bit of largely assumed information was given so leaks, etc may not be an issue.

How easy is it to make a U turn on the road of IGA and Muirwood?

Thoughts... maybe DS was frazzled by an incident happening right as she was leaving work. (We know there is some sort of suspicious activity happening). Her thoughts are distracted by about whatever the incident was... and misses the turn IGA, then makes the next best U turn at Muirwood. Maybe she didn't realize the degree of danger she was in from the incident leaving work... and doesn't make it to BBF.

Muirwood would be before IGA on her route home though so that means she turned into Muirwood first. As kmarques pointed out, Muirwood has a dedicated right hand turn lane into it which means if she turned in there, it was deliberate, you can't really accidentally turn in. Grand River in that area at that time of day is a madhouse. I honestly can't see mistaking the turn into Muirwood for thinking she was turning into IGA. Traffic is a nightmare, there's a dedicated turn lane, IGA is at an intersection, Muirwood is between lights. It just doesn't add up unless she was turning in there to lose someone or get help. Even at that point, she would have to stop at that guard station to explain that she was just trying to turn around, if someone was in the car with her, why wouldn't she just throw the car in park and bail out?

Ah ha, thanks! I see what was meant. I looked up the streets and IGA and Muirwoods isn't even on the same road.

Interesting

I think that's the point. I'm not as familiar with that exact area but from what I'm understanding, this wouldn't be the turn she'd make if she were frazzled.

Again, the pending charges against friends ex-boyfriend?? Was she to be a credible witness?

Could be why Government Agencies may be involved, a theory of putting up the bail money by another sleuth.

But you know what. I frequently turn into one of those driveways on Grand River because the light is no turn on red and even four stop signs are shorter than that light. That building right there is a bank with an ATM. Guess what banks have. Cameras. If she or whoever drove into one of those driveways, there is a possibility it's on tape somewhere.

Yea I remember that ATM's have cameras from Beeaking Bad!

That's the piece I was hoping to get clarity on, which won't happen until they name SG as a suspect.

I know we can not discuss the specifics here, but does anyone recall seeing comments on social media that suggest FG is in fact the SG?

I have seen nothing on social media that suggests FG is SG or that FG was acquainted with DS.

One tidbit that suggests FG is SG is the fellow identified on news video as SGs attorney; the attorney is a friend of FGs in-laws.

I agree with some questioning themselves into thinking that you they are over reacting and your last paragraph. From personal experience the follower would just wait further on.

You can access both of the complexes from Grand River though. They're about 3/4 to 1/2 mile apart. I think IGA is technically listed as being on Halsted because that's what the leasing office faces.

***i forgot to post the quote. This is in reply to the statement that DS had posted how she's excited to be able to donate blood again back in 2009***

I just thought of something ... Since you brought up donating blood .. A blood drive was held for the SO of FG back in January... Since donating blood was something DS was excited about - do you think MetLife employees were made aware of the blood drive in case anyone wanted to help SGs SO?? It was a large event and someone on the page even mentioned that the news might be there.. And SGs SO even commented saying thank you and for people to donate as often as they can because this is what keeping her alive ... Maybe that is when they first really got to talking ?
