IMO, she was specifically targeted (nothing random about her encounter with the SG as they knew each other). If the SG harbored anger towards her for his termination (we still don't know details of employment), he may have wanted to harm her (or her family members), but not necessarily be a murderer and selling into the world of trafficking would benefit him financially while seeking revenge. IMO, he suspected almost immediately that a witness may have been able to identify him as being with her last so he returned the vehicle to her apartment to cover his tracks.

so in what you have here, how do you figure the security guard who was an acquaintance in this? They have searched his home 2 times and taken evidence to test, including 2 cars and a mattress.

I was thinking this too. But, any specific texts or photos would tell even more.

One more thing to add to my anti-H.T. campaign. The point that was brought up before. Money was left in her purse.

Anytime there is any kind of break-in and money is not touched, it is a crime of passion.

If you tell me "they didn't want their fingerprints on the money" I will ask, "Did they drive the car without their hands?"

But seriously. Parking a car back at a house and not touching the contents of the purse tells us more than what we've learned from the press.

It's winter here so they could've wore gloves and it wouldn't have seemed odd if in fact someone saw them.

I also feel like this could be a situation where the SG (if he is part of this) had no ill intention originally. It could be that they argued and he shoved her, or something to that affect, and she fell and hit her head. It does happen. SG panics and deals with it the best way he can think of....I don't know. Just trying to come up with more ideas that we can't prove. [emoji34][emoji17]

I do appreciate the links, thanks. But these are not stories of suburban women being nabbed from a suburb. They are women who were vulnerable, which is exactly what they look for in sex trafficking.

My issue with the whole HT theory is there is not one thing pointing to Danielle being vulnerable. If evidence shows up to that, I would be happy to change my mind on it.

Always possible Mr FG/SG nabbed her to sell her off. If that is the case then I believe he will have others looking for him besides police. This case is getting attention traffickers do not like.

The real bottom line is that FG holds the answers. Whether she is alive, nearby, out of state. They need to lock him in a room and make him talk. <modsnip>

Interesting watching a group of amateur and not so amateur sleuths (me) attack and try to resolve a crime... We watch the majorities position shift in unison. The injury to her foot/ankle is released and drugs become the theme. Twelve agencies rush in and we're convinced she is a link to an even wider crime spree. A possible colleague's home is searched and we're convinced she was the target of a stalker or an affair gone awry. And then we forget the 12 agencies, we forget the drugs,....

But today two big things have happened.

1. The Family has announced a vigil, and attending, a present and past state senator.

2. The family is promoting an event in Livonia designated as an event to raise awareness to human trafficking.

Remember...

1. We were asked to share the photo ALL over the country.

2. We were told of "a good chance she could be out of the state"

3. We were told local searches were no longer needed.

4. We were told of the fear "She is being held against her will"

5. And we were told there were 12 agencies involved, right off the bat.

It might be time to give up the "Stalker" and "Romance gone awry" theories....

I want so bad for her to come home

I'm not convinced that's impossible!

Wild speculation: Could the HOI (home of interest in Berkeley) have some sort of ties to HT? Maybe LE is finding evidence of DS being at the residents (inside or outside), and possibly held against her will, but not signs of...please forgive me...loss of life. Maybe they found rope or some sort of restraints, maybe a stun gun. With DS restrained, FG left the home on Dec 3rd. Or had it arranged with others to transport DS. But why DS? Could someone get paid for such an act. We need to know more about FG.

I hear ya. I'm not convinced that is what happened...I just don't know and I sure as heck hope LE has something amazing up their sleeves. #finddani

Does anybody know what his "alibi" was for the night of the 2nd? Has that been discussed?

Nope. He's not talking so until they have evidence and officially name him as POI or suspect he doesnt have to say anything.

I'm curious as how someone can refuse to talk to the police?

It is his right. He hasn't been naned a suspect or POI. I believe it is protected under the Miranda rights. And for a good reason.

The last paragraph. That's what I feel happened.
I think SG knew her enough to be able to approach her and not set off her internal alarm bells but not enough to be easily connected to her later. I think he was presented an opportunity by "someone, who knew someone, that knows another, who might buy a girl" and he thought it out and picked her (or she fit a description that was given by that person).
I think SG followed her around for a week or so, noticed where she lived and parked, grabbed her from metlife (I'm not sure what vehicle but I'm inclined to think hers), took her to Oxford, she was taken by someone else up the line of HT, and he was like, "crap. I have her jeep. Let's put it back so it's not here." Maybe the contact person took him home after. Maybe he walked/bus/uber/whatever home.
The involvement of a chain of people makes sense when considering SG hasn't been arrested. It makes sense that LE would want more names and locations. That fits with the "share far and wide" idea because they hope someone has seen her or that one person in the chain will roll on the next for money.

I just finished series one of the Serial podcast (late to the party, I know). It reminded me that most murders are not pre-contemplated or completed by psychopaths. Most murders happen in the heat of seemingly fleeting passion. I am still hopeful that's not what happened and we find her somewhere alive. But, it reminded me again that "criminals" are among, or within, us- depending on how you look at it.
