After the discussion about SG being the afternoon guy and security guards moving around to different places, I have a few questions that maybe someone could answer.

Does anyone know how the office building ML is located is set up? Is it interconnected buildings or one big building?

If it's interconnected buildings could SG have still be working in the building but in a separate part than ML? He'd still have access to DS and it wouldn't have been odd for him to have parked in the parking lot. They could get away with saying he hasn't worked for ML since October that way too...

And if he was an afternoon worker, does that suggest there is 24 hour security or at least security that goes late into the evening? Or just that he could have been part time? Could he have been working but left work for a period of time? Do you have to scan your card or be checked in/out to get in and out of the building at every entrance?

Okay so I know someone that said they go to "MET life" to get their massages. I thought "that's weird met life does massages?" But know it's my understanding that her massage therapist must have an office in the same building as MET life. I keep wanting to ask her more detailed questions about the building!

Yes, since joining WS, my eyes have opened much wider. Almost wish I could get my daughter to join and follow just one case. It could prove more insightful than anything I could possibly attempt to get through to her.
There is a book which is important for teens and younger adults called "The Gift of Fear". The author gives examples and insight about our intuitive senses or gut feeling.

Of course I learned of this book from Websleuths.

When I bought books for my niece and nephew the woman at Indigo told me she bought copies for all of her kids when they got older.

I learned so much about our survival tool called our intuition and it works !

I do not think a stranger is responsible for what ever happened to her.

I also think she drove her car home.

Maybe it's time for a timeline and media thread for Danielle.

I messaged a Mod last night asking that cujenn's post be attached as a timeline.

I'm not so sure her gf asked her to leave early.
I'm wondering if SG sent a text or called her and asked to meet up before her dinner.
I have read so many things about this dinner.

Maybe the GF knew about the SG. This might explain her not being frantic she never showed up.

We really don't know very much do we?
All jmo

Wow I assumed the request was from the dinner friend! It didn't even occur to me that it could be from someone else (the SG?!)

Big thanks to cujenn81 for compiling all the LE/MSM-supported facts into one post. If anyone missed it, it's post #189 in this thread. I highly recommend everyone read it just to kind of recalibrate themselves on what is considered fact in this case.

Here we are, 8 threads deep. At this point in the case, official information is trickling out to the public very slowly, and I feel the speculation is starting to spiral a little bit out of control and take on a life of its own. People are referencing text transcripts that do not actually exist, or making wild assumptions about DS's character and activities. Speculation is useful in that it allows us to play out various "could be" scenarios to see if any of them make sense or lead us anywhere, but we must keep in mind that once we start making assumptions we can quickly stray down the wrong path (and take others with us!).

Anyway, I will step off my soap box now :)
I think you are spot on. I've kind of checked out mentally now, and moved well past the point of contributing new ideas, because it's been frustrating to watch the shift you described above. But I keep peeking in because I keep waiting for a breakthrough, and feel very strongly about supporting Holocene. We know very few facts, the rest is speculation and theorizing. I feel concerned that this case will go in the same direction as ZuZu's. Lots of circumstantial evidence, an obvious POI, but not enough for LE to take action. Breaks my heart, for both girls.

I am optimistic that L.E. is building a case and will soon solve this.

Maybe I am not being realistic but it is possible that the L.E. may break through this.

I will always have hope.

These cases are so sad.

I want to say though that I feel we all share a close bond on these threads.

Thank you to all you wonderful folks.

Possibly she drove home and someone was there waiting and said. We need to to talk or can I talk to u for a min. She takes her keys and phone and hops in the car.

I respectfully disagree. I don't think the family/LE is trying to conceal anything in attempt to keep her story active. If anything is not being disclosed, IMO, it's because it could jeopardize the investigation/prosecution and more importantly, risk getting back DS safely. I believe there are several other reasons why her case continues to get so much publicity:

1) Her family/friends have diligently shared her story through SM given it much more exposure than other missing person cases.
2) She works for a large well-known company which happens to be the last place she was seen.
3) DS is someone many of us would be blessed to know, a funny, exuberant, loving, kind-hearted woman with a larger-than-life personality.
4) LE and DS's family had confirmation early-on that foul-play had occurred (through evidence and witness statements).

All MOO. But #4 especially is something that could easily propel her case, as it led to the involvement of multiple agencies (including the FBI) which always gets more attention. Often times people are presumed to have voluntarily disappeared and I don't believe that was ever a consideration by LE/family/friends with DS. IMO, though, it's her family and friends that are ultimately responsible for drawing thousands more into her already enormous army of people wanting her home.

Long "thinking out loud" thoughts:

So after reading about many other missing in Michigan individuals, especially those who are young women, it is clear that Dani's case is much more publicized and well known compared to the dozens missing a day that we never hear of. What makes Dani so different than these other women? (Not saying she doesn't deserve the attention, bear with me). There is something unique about this case that has caught the attention of SM, MSM, and almost a dozen LE agencies. There are so many young women missing daily, with families pleading online for help, but get a couple hundred shares and then it goes blank. Dani's case on the other hand, has been reported by national news stations, almost a million shares (I think more, but not positive at the moment).

The main differences I gather are:
1. Strong family and home life
2. Respectable Job
3. Not one to drift off schedule
4. Hard drugs were not part of her past or present
5. Many more, but those are the main ones.

I do not mean to offend any one here or suggest Dani was a bad person, but I thought about this tonight- we all fell in love with her because she was the best friend/sister/cousin we all have, and she has SO many people hoping and praying for her return home- but with all the agencies quickly jumping in, and I know this has been a (heated) topic of discussion before, what if this was connected to drugs, but for fear of social media/MSM judgement, LE/family and friends are keeping things hush hush?

I'm not suggesting she was a hard core heroin addict or anything of that sorts, it just made sense to me that family/LE would try to conceal that information in hopes of keeping her story active.

I also do believe that FG is the POI, but if he is not, why search his house? I know this is another heated topic, but what if they were to have a relationship, plutonic or romantic, and she had been to that house before? She could've texted her friend and said "I'm getting off a little early, going to stop over at FG for a little bit" and when she didn't show to dinner, the friend would assume she was enjoying her night elsewhere. The friend woke up in the morning, still no response from Dani, but probably thought she was at work doing training. Hours later, friend starts worrying, and goes to her apartment/contacts parents. And the mystery begins :/

This was my initial thought, too. I kind of gave up on that when it was stated in MSM that she didn't drive herself home, but do they know that for certain? My other theory is that someone she knows well is involved based on gut instincts from things I've seen on SM, and a google search on that person gives some very interesting historical facts from MSM. JMO, of course!

Im not sure you can/will answer - but if some information has made its way here to WS, do you think its possible someone with '1st hand knowledge'' of the situation is posting here or do you feel like the information is just finding its way here though other channels?

I do feel like it's potentially the former over the latter. There was a poster in the previous thread who mentioned some things I wish they hadn't. I haven't seen them post again since. It's particularly bothersome because information like that could be case sensitive. If that person came in just to post that (despite so many people telling them not to and then chastising them for it after the fact) and then promptly bounced thereafter, then it would seem they did so just to satisfy themselves. That's not what I'm here for. As far as other channels bleeding into this one, I don't know because I can't predict everyone's social media patterns but there has been some slight correlation between certain things I've read here and elsewhere; sometimes frustratingly so.

That's the annoying thing about SM, everyone knows everything about each other. & Shame on them if they are privy to the knowledge because they know her and their still releasing it.

How can they know she did t drive herself home?
They keep asking if anyone saw her and her car from 5pm on.

Maybe from evidence they found in her car? Or the way her seat was positioned.

I don't know really. And I assume they don't know for certain. But they must have some reason to state that.

My thoughts, too. I also wondered if it was possible they have surveillance video from nearby her apartment complex in the wee hours showing her vehicle being followed for the return (possibly one even confiscated). JMO

Thanks, Zen! I did pick up the condensed version after reading about it here on WS, thinking it was a quick enough read to entice my daughter. But appears to lack many of the scenarios, so I'll be ordering the original version.

And that poster keeps doing so on SM and it is so frustrating! I do not know DS or FG or anyone in family of either, but it makes me so angry why poster would do that when it appears poster is on DS friend side. Ugh! Off my soap box...
