These cases are bizarre to me. It seems like there should be more information available. Unfortunately their names are very common, so it makes searching that much more difficult. I wonder what their story is.

The NamUs cases were created on May 5, 2018, so I’d assume they were reported missing prior to 2019. Are Louise and David a couple? There’s an 18 year age difference, so could they be mother and son? NamUs also lists David’s weight as being “180 - 120 lbs”. I think that should be 180-220 and not 120-180. But I could be completely wrong about that. Too many questions here.

This is so strange. Not only that, but the age difference is interesting too. Are we 100% on them being a couple?

I wonder if they are mother and son. The nineteen-year age gap could support this.

I found a ‘Louise Jackson’ and a ‘David F. Jackson’ (the F. possibly could be wrong) listed in the 1950 census for Wayne County in Detroit. The head of the household was ‘Forest E. Jackson’, he was also listed as Louise’s husband and David’s father.

According to the World War II draft card for Forrest, his middle name was Edward which matches David’s actual one. Forrest died in 1965 and below is the link for his findagrave.

Of course, this could all be a complete coincidence and it could be different people altogether.

I thought about contacting the MSP and see what they can tell me more about the case. I think I will check out the contact info I do have and see what leads it will come out with the contact at MSP.

Contacted Christopher Clark with the Michigan State Police Metro South Divison. left a message waiting on either an Email or Phone call.

I received a phone call from Detective Christopher Clark with the MSP South Metro Division. He stated that this case is not one of the interesting ones but when he gets some free time and is able to dig into this case he will reach back out to me with the information we were looking for if they were actually married or mother and son.

Have you ever heard back from Det. Clark? I was searching for updates on this case and couldn't find anything..
