Same name, age looks like it fits more or less, root colour is brown, eyes look brown, outline of face, nose, and mouth all look like her.

Yes, either it's her or somebody using her information.

I compiled a bunch of info a few days ago after she was the spotlight case on Charley and was hoping to submit it via email, but could only find contact phone numbers. It seems common for detectives to give only phone numbers...I'd think email or an online contact form would be more appealing to tipsters.

Anyway, I'm planning to call it in today. I'll keep you posted.

Where is her family? The picture of her is bad, that could be almost anyone :-\ Was her relationship abusive? She was really young to already be out of touch with her family.

The husband lives in South Bend Indiana. Unemployed. Lives with a women and they have a small child together.

She and her husband Andrew Silvernail were living in Hazel Park at the time. Providence Hospital in Southfield, where she gave birth, is also where she was last known to be alive. [...]

There is, however, one place of interest. Morey has received a tip that Dawn Silvernail may have been in Alma after she was discharged from the hospital.

“I’ve had more than one indication,” he said.

Morey has talked with Dawn’s husband Andrew – who had custody of the two boys after Dawn went missing – and family members and friends, many times. No one knows where she is.

Andrew is, Morey said without hesitation, “a person of interest.”

Even having her maiden name would help, and surely someone knows that even if there are no other photos!

She was tall enough that she could be mistaken for a male UID if skeletal remains were found.

ETA: She appears to have had very wide-set eyes.

As someone close to this I have always heard that Andrew killed her and buried her in the swampy woods area behind his grandmothers house in Matherton, Michigan. So sad her boys had to grow up without their mother.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Dawn has a lazy eye. She has a scar on her abdomen and a scar in the middle of her forehead. Some reports spell her middle name “Renee”.

Details of Disappearance: Dawn was last seen in Hubbardston, Michigan on November 8, 1991. She had just given birth to her second son at Providence Hospital. She has never been heard from again.

Dawn grew up in the Ithaca, Michigan area. She and her husband, Andrew, had lived in California, Georgia and Florida before returning to Michigan, where they lived in Hazel Park. Dawn's family reported her missing to different police agencies in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The Michigan State Police took over the investigation in 2006.

After Dawn went missing, different people told the police Andrew had bragged about killing her and burying her body at the bottom of Dugway Hill. Andrew is considered a person of interest in her disappearance, but he has never been charged. Her case remains unsolved and is being investigated as a homicide.

Where's Dawn Silvernail?

Two cadaver dogs from the Michigan State Police canine unit searched four acres of Dugway Hill Tuesday morning under blue skies and the hopeful eye of MSP Det. Sgt. Michael Morey.

The German shepherds and their handlers, Trooper Tim Johnson and Sgt. David Yount, took turns traversing the brush, first one large section, then another about 100 yards south.

After more than two hours, the dogs, Blitz and Lightning, found nothing.
