DETROIT - Detroit police were looking for the parents of two young children who were found alone Tuesday morning at Cranbrook Motel on the Lodge Freeway service drive near 8 Mile Road.

The 24-year-old mother of the children was taken into custody before 5 p.m. and will be charged, police said.

Police said the woman was arrested for neglect. A warrant package will be submitted to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office for review and charges...

This article is from earlier today before the children's mother had been located. What precious little ones! If Mom can't take proper care of them, I'm sure someone else would love to care for these children.
