I wonder though how she ended up there and what she did in the weeks between her disappearance and death. Maybe the date of her disappearance or the date she was hit are incorrect?

Also, she's a victim of a hit-and-run. Shouldn't there still be an open case for the criminal who hit her and didn't stop?
