This is a bit out there but could Deisha be non-human? Some people love animals a lot ... horses live about that long ... Just trying to think out of the box.

The race said white the other day; apparently they changed it.

Krebs read my PM the night I sent it; but did not reply. I'm glad they released a photo of the tat as I had asked for one. I hope she is trying to get a hold of Deisha's mother.

Well, that pic clears up any questions about transcription errors. I think you're right about Deisha, Roselvr. It's strange that there's no real online presence for DD after 2007 or so.

Sorry; didn't realize there were 2 pages when I replied.
The tat looks black in one pic; bluish in another. My guess it is black. It wouldn't surprise me if it was an apprentice that did it as the writing isn't that great. No clue why they did not add the photo to the NamUs entry.

As for the squatter; they're talking about 2 people; the guy that passed or was killed; then another that was living in an abandoned house.

I'll try Krebs again as I think they really need to speak to her

I agree it's a black tattoo and it doesn't look like professional work to me. Nothing to do with the fading if ink though. More about the wonkiness and lack of good points at the end of the lines that need them.

bbm - have they established COD now? Because otherwise how would they know it was a homicide? The person could have died from an overdose, accident, or a medical emergency but someone else did not want them to be found on the premises for whatever reason so decided to cut up and hide the body.

It sort of struck me as someone's idea of a cursive but not their own, trying to stick with a font or style, an example he saw.

Fwiw, it also looks very much like the style of writing used by bakery shops for birthday cake greetings.

On a quick search of legacy.com, putting "Deisha" in a keyword and searching All States, there are only a few that pop up as family members of persons who died before 2010. That might be a good research angle.

Lol good way to put it, because that's what I was thinking. This means it's free hand.

So did anyone find another case similar that happened in May? Because Im really freaked out that I heard about something very similar but I know it wasn't in June.

I looked in Classmates for all persons named Deisha, who were in their HS class of 1999.

I found two, and got their DOB's from PeopleFinders:

One (Deisha B) went to Tri-Cities High School, East Point, GA (DOB 22-Apr-1981), and has a facebook page with current activity.
The other (Deisha W) went to Lew Wallace High School, Gary, IN (DOB 03-Mar-1981). I don't see a facebook page on her.

PeopleFinders is not always accurate on a DOB, and Deisha B's DOB is pretty close. I am not able to determine whether she is still alive as of 2009 though.

That tattoo is not real clear, but it's pretty hard to imagine what looks like "6-23" (June 23) to be "4-22" (April 22).

I worked for Imtelius for a while and was amazed at how many entries had a wrong DOB, like not even close, not just partly wrong but completely wrong. Often they seem to get mixed with family members' DOB. I don't know if it's the same at PeopleFinders but I don't think one can totally rely on these dates.

I edited my post as you were typing your reply. The Deisha B appears to be still alive based on a Facebook page with current activity.

So Deisha W is the only one of those two that I cannot rule out.

Gary IN where DW went to high school is very near Detroit. A couple of hours drive, is all.

The chapter (motor club) I heard it from is in Gary ... I swear these two have got to be connected.
