The head and two legs of a badly decomposed body were taken from a sewer Friday at the rear of 13021 E. Forest.

Police were called when DPW employes, working to clear the sewer which neighbors reported had flooded in Wednesday's rain, discovered a plastic bag containing the legs. Further dredging resulted in discovery of the head.

Police said the remains were too badly decomposed to immediately determine sex or race.
