MT MORRIS TOWNSHIP, MI -- Police are looking for information on the whereabouts of a Mt. Morris Township man who went missing three years ago this month.
Don Juan Casanova Jackson, 38, was last seen in the 200 block of Taylor Street in Flint during the early morning hours of Dec. 11, 2018, according to Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County.
Around two hours later, his vehicle was found burned near the intersection of 5th Avenue and Cottage Grove Avenue.
Jackson was reported missing by his wife around 11:45 p.m. Dec. 14, 2018,
according to prior reporting. He lives in Mt. Morris Township and stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds.
Jackson’s wife last spoke with her husband around 10 p.m. Dec. 10, 2018, at their home in the 1200 block of Flamingo Drive in Mt. Morris Township before he left in a black 2005 Chevy Impala.
Investigators were able to track his phone signal to the Bundy Avenue area in Flint, but Jackson was not found. Officers have also searched other Flint neighborhoods, according to prior reporting.
Mt. Morris Township police Detective Shawn Morey told MLive-The Flint Journal in 2018 that Jackson’s family members also had not heard from him around the time of his disappearance.
“They’ve tried to call his cell phone, but it goes straight to voicemail,” Morey said. “It’s not like him to do this.”
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $2,500 for successful tips that help lead to Jackson’s whereabouts.
