He was driving his tan 1992 Ford Crown Victoria with the Michigan license plate number 348CFG at the time of his disappearance. He has never been heard from again and his vehicle has not been recovered.

Lauzon was retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1992; he used to be a tool grinder. He has family members living in Canada, but searches for him in that country have turned up no sign of him. He was declared legally dead in 1999.

I'm not familiar with most of Michigan...are there places he could have gone into water close by with his car? Neither has been recovered in all this time.

This Facebook page has a photo of Ed's car.

Did a simple argument over leaving the front door open cause him to disappear forever? mmm maybe he was looking for an excuse to leave... although at his age I don't know how much he could do... already retired and maybe with little strength... I don't think it's kidnapping or robbery... although possibly suicide... it could be having hit someone somewhere and felt guilty... maybe he and his car are in some nearby body of water...
either way
rest in peace
