So what could these Creeps, be doing in this funeral home.
Taking the tiny bodies out of their coffins, and perhaps reusing/reselling the coffins, making more money. MOO.

Wonder, if also the buried coffins, have more than one infant present, to hide other bodies.
Evil creatures, showing no respect.
Imagine how the families, now must feel.:(:(:(
Heartbreaking news.

Detroit police said the remains of 11 infants were treated like garbage when the bodies were stuffed hidden in the ceiling.

"Nine infants were boxed together in a plain cardboard box, two were in a casket. It's just very disheartening right now," lieutenant James Demps with the Detroit police said.

It was an anonymous tip that brought investigators to the building. The old funeral home was being renovated into a community center. The new owners opened the door for investigators and that's when they searched the building, finding the hidden compartment in the ceiling.

"Some of the bodies had a tag on referring back to 2009, some had receipts on them as if the person or family didn't finish paying," Demps said.

Police: Most infant remains found at Detroit funeral home were fetuses

Detroit — Most of the infants' bodies discovered last week in the ceiling compartment of a Detroit funeral home were fetuses stuffed inside a cardboard box, Police Chief James Craig said Monday.

State authorities received an anonymous letter in the mail Friday that there were 11 infants' bodies hidden in the Cantrell Funeral Home on Mack Avenue. The facility had been shut down in April after state investigators found deplorable conditions, including decomposed bodies covered in mold...

This isn't directed at you BDE, just jumping off your post.

Wow, why would they not have searched the entire building when the infants were found? IMO, that entire building should have been considered a crime scene. :(

This was addressed during 4:00 report on WDIV. Video should be available later this evening. The building is 20,000 square feet and has multiple floors. Electricity was turned off, so new owners were unable to search dark areas of the facility. They will bring in bright lights to continue searching. Part of the building is "apartments", and searches haven't been performed in those areas. More coming up during 5:00 report. www.clickondetroit.com
