I found that odd too. Seems no family [ MI] are on the page, just mostly from her school and surrounding area.
You are very observant. I like that. :happydance:

Yes, sweetberries, there will be fliers sent out that the CUE Center will make up for advertising the event. The news media will be invited. Terry Camp with ABC news told me he would be there. We will do our best to get the word out. MIMOMMY has offered to help out with whatever she can do also, which is greatly appreciated. Another fb friend from around Saginaw has offered to do what she can. We appreciate the help. We saw where sometimes a billboard can be rented or donated for missing persons. We live just far enough away from Saginaw that frequent trips are hard to make. My sister , Debra, and I plan to be in Saginaw for a few days to take care of details. For my own personal curiosity and needed knowledge, we plan to go see for ourselves the site where neighbors on Airport Rd called police to come look at something they were concerned about. I need to see for myself. We also hope to be able to speak with an attorney then.
We hope and pray answers will soon come as to what happened to Eric in 2011.
I will be working closely with Eric's family during the Missing in Michigan event that is quickly approaching. Anyone else in Michigan willing to come and assist?
I got another email today from CUE Center and it again had Saginaw listed as a confirmed place on their list of stops during their 11th annual Road to Remember Tour. It did not give us the exact date. I think Monica is still trying to get the rest of their stops confirmed first. As soon as Eric's family knows the exact date, it will be posted here. Thanks for your interest. What is the exact date of the event? I am in metro Detroit; however, my work as an attorney brings me to the Saginaw District Courthouse on an almost weekly basis.
Sending you healing thoughts and (((vibes)), Eric's mom.I had surgery to remove two tumors in my foot on Monday, so I have not felt like posting much. I went for a follow up check up yesterday and I am healing as I should be. So, today I have been trying to catch up on posts about Eric on various sites. I will say that we are in contact with someone who says he became friends with Eric in Saginaw. He is in touch with the MI State Police and we are hopeful he will give them some information that will prove helpful in finding answers to what happened to Eric in Saginaw. He has been able to let us know some things that back up some of our earlier suspicions. We will post what we can when we can. He had left MI and did not know until returning recently that Eric was missing. Just know that things are happening that are encouraging to our family.

:welcome:
Glad you are here, Vestrank.
Are you familiar with Eric's story?
Yes, a few months ago I came across this thread, and I ended up reading the entire thing in one evening. It struck my interest immediately as it appears so little was done by LE when Eric first went missing.
I spent my last year of law school working in the Cold Case/Homicide Unit of a local Prosecutor's Office and I have always had a passion for helping families get the closure they need and deserve.
I think about this case often and truly hope someone comes forward with information to help solve what happened to Eric.

We learned today that unfortunately Det/ Sgt Gary Thomas had heart surgery, so explains the delay in getting back to anyone. We hope he recovers soon and can go back to his life as usual. Someone else is taking his work load , so that person will handle the calls that have come in.Well, it was a week this past Friday since Eric's Saginaw friend called the MI State Police and left a voice mail with the personal line of Det/Sgt Gary Thomas and there had been no return call as of Saturday. My daughter will call today to see what's going on. This is the most important piece of the puzzle that has been given to us and we WILL NOT let this go like the tip 2 years ago from Eric's friend who also was facebook friends with the former girlfriend. I desperately tried to get that tip from 2 yrs ago taken seriously. I am tired of being told the police are busy with murder trials. I have heard that from the beginning. There will always be murder trials and the police will always be busy. When does Eric get a chance to be the case that is being really investigated? I do not want to be told again that it's "she said" "she said" or this time "he said" "he said". Isn't the point of an investigation to see who is telling the truth and who is lying?
