It is actually public record. That's where one of Eric's family members found it. She googled FG's name and found info about SS misuse. Then a person close to the case in Saginaw told about scam information. Some of you have already found things our family hadn't found. Please call and inform the state police. Thanks.

Is there a public record of a conviction for fraud or something, do you mean? Because if that's the case I'd be worried about her running a care facility for seniors or vulnerable adults. In fact I'm sure in some states that wouldn't be allowed.

Zwiebel, what you said about "all the miles in the world aren't enough to get away from that" reminds me of the thing that keeps bothering me about the police investigation maybe as much as anything....after 4 members of Eric's family went to Saginaw and did an interview on the local news there, one of Eric's friends and a FB friend of Eric and FG saw the news report and called the BV police and emailed some important information to the police. This friend said he "talked" to FG on FB and said Eric was one of his best friends and if she hurt him that there is no place on earth that she can hide...that he would find her. He asked her if she killed him and she said no and that she could prove it and as far as we know, she has never been asked to prove (or even explain what she meant). He knew her statements told on the news about Eric leaving in March for CA was not what she had told him back in June of 2011. This friend had not heard from Eric in a little while and asked FG if Eric was ok. She told him yes, that he was well and with her and she would tell Eric to get in touch with his friend. He never heard from Eric. FG has placed Eric alive and there in Saginaw in MARCH, APRIL, MAY and JUNE. The original missing report in OH says she told them she had told me she last saw Eric in April and last talked to him in May when she posted prom photos and Eric replied to them. Then when the motel owner told what he saw happen, FG said in March she helped Eric move from the motel. The BV police asked me did I know why she lies. He said because she drinks!!!! I want her to be questioned again and again until she tells the truth! Just hold back the alcohol and maybe that way she can speak the truth we are all waiting to hear!!

This is the kind of answer a defence attorney would do anything to prevent their client giving.

Because how can you prove you did not kill someone unless you already know;

1. Where the person is safe and well now

or

2. When and where that person was killed, and you know you have an alibi

That was a very revealing thing to say, in my opinion.

I just spoke to the person who found the info on the SS I mentioned. They said it was found by looking up the ACF and seeing citations and owners of the facility. Sorry. I will call the Health and Human Services as you suggested MyBelle.

That is exactly what I've been saying to the authorities since we found out she made that statement.

A family member created that page and has not been able to maintain it, so she is in the process of making some changes so someone else in the family can maintain it.

Christopher Abeyta was able to make a profile into a page although I'm not sure how it was done.

Whoever made the Find Eric Lee Franks FB profile; can give you the email addy & password used. You can then use it to get his face all over FB; such as the MIM group. You can also get a twitter using the same email & PW then attach twitter to it. It can be set up so that twitter updates the profile & twitter when you post on the Find Eric Lee Franks FB page (assuming you make one). I don't know about that. It was listed under citations. I don't know details.

Cathy is having a really rough year. Aundria has been missing for 25 years 3/11/14. She will turn 40 in June. We are so unfamiliar with this. We have thought of a PI at different times but weren't sure when it would be helpful. We are reading over those links someone shared yesterday on that subject.

As far as the volunteer search groups - didn't even know they existed until yesterday, but...where would we ask them to search? We have no guesses as to where he or the car might be other than proximity to the motel, I suppose. Will they go out for a lead as soft as that?

Did they explain exactly HOW it could hurt Erics case to have missing posters out and to make pleas on television?
Maybe this is some LE thing that I have no clue about and there is a good reason, but it just sounds insane to me that police would ask you not to bring attention to Eric being missing.

I agree completely Nymeria - it makes no sense to me either. So many vital tips could have been lost because of that. Especially since it is members of the public who so often help find our missing.

They can only help when they know someone is missing though.

I don't understand why media haven't named the last known person to have seen Eric. They nearly always do in missing persons' cases, and it can be very helpful. I wish someone in the mainstream media would do that for Eric.

Maybe this is some LE thing that I have no clue about and there is a good reason, but it just sounds insane to me that police would ask you not to bring attention to Eric being missing.

I was told by the investigating officer with BV police that it might cause someone to "lawyer up". I talked to a lawyer about this and told him that I felt stupid now to have listened to the police about that. He told me not to feel that way , that Eric's family was only trying to do what we were told would help Eric's case. We had never been involved with a missing person case and thought we could trust the authorities to advise us.

I talked to the media contact about this. I said that websleuths were asking that question. Normally they do that, I was told, but explained why this case is different. If you want to get the answer, please call Channel 12 and Channel 5 in Saginaw and ask that question.

One of Eric's relatives that loves to do internet searches found that info. When I first called the former prosecutor, he googled FG's husband while I was on the phone with him and said he didn't understand why the police hadn't found info on FG's husband. He said he found several violations.
