Is anyone from your family actively watching fb activity for fg, daughter, and fg's husband - and even their direct families?

Someone is sometimes in someways! I have reason to believe it's a two way street.

Would the family be willing to allow one of the websleuths members to create a Find Eric facebook page as a way to circulate his face quickly and to many locations?

Yes, that would be great. I would like access to post pictures of Eric now and then and do updates. I'm sure you all know more about getting his face out there quickly and to the right places. Thanks so much.

I really don't know how many were living there. FG's manager of ACF said FG had ,"Oh, so may cars" and the neighbors said there was always a yard full of cars and young people going back and forth. (The next door neighbor said one of FG's children said her mom said they were gypsies.) The manager of the ACF said some of the family lived upstairs. At the time one of Eric's family members spoke to FG's husband, it appeared FG and family either were or had lived in one of the Adult Care Facilities.

Some of you have offered to put out flyers in the Bridgeport and Buena Vista areas and other places like through media,etc. Please know that Eric's family is so appreciative of anything you can do to help us find answers. We will do what we can, but we needed some help and you have all been so wonderful ! Thanks from all of us.

I was told by the investigating officer with BV police that it might cause someone to "lawyer up". I talked to a lawyer about this and told him that I felt stupid now to have listened to the police about that. He told me not to feel that way , that Eric's family was only trying to do what we were told would help Eric's case. We had never been involved with a missing person case and thought we could trust the authorities to advise us.

I guess I should add that it wasn't just "someone". I was given names and we were given reason to believe there would be results. I know no one can really guarantee results, but precious time was wasted in getting Eric's story out there in the first several months. He wasn't in MI long and even more reason to get his face and name in the public eye in Saginaw before people forgot what they saw or knew. It's a good thing that the motel owner had a sharp eye out as to what was going on in and around his motel or we would all wonder if Eric vanished somewhere in or on the way to CA.( Although that story would have been questioned because Eric would have called and posted about it. Plus, he said he was not leaving Saginaw as long as his daughter was there. There is also the fact that his phone never left Saginaw and no calls were made to or received from anyone in CA.) I wish the motel owner had called the police when Eric didn't collect his own things and didn't turn in his key himself, but it just shows how he knew the person who did take Eric's things and turn in the key. That person had been seen there so much and the story as to why Eric and that person had a relationship was not hidden, but shared.

Can I get ANYONE who is actively sleuthing on this case to msg me so that we can compile a list of names, addresses, etc in private. I have reason to believe that a few of us are sleuthing the same trails.

"Why is the name of the last person, as far as we know, to see Eric alive not being released to the public in case someone knows something about that person and Eric.....when everyone knows who the motel owner is because his business was shown on tv and his statement was quoted.?" He told me he was afraid this would hurt his business, so he did not want to be interviewed on camera. Just recently, when he was questioned again before the last tv news update, he asked if he was a suspect and was told no. His name did not have to be told, everyone saw his business and could easily know his name.

Thank you so much for stepping up. I don't think I'm the only one here who is heartbroken at what Eric's mom has been through, and her struggles to be heard and get support.

I am so glad to see some of our experienced posters extending a helping hand.

I would like to extend my thanks to the owner of Miller's Motel for doing the right thing. For being a good citizen and providing all the information he could, for a person in need of help. That is such a wonderful thing.

Hubby and his colleagues ( and me to a lesser extent) stay at hotels all over the world, a lot of the time. The very best ones ones (regardless of ratings) are where you can trust the person in charge, to do right by visitors. Because it's only when you have a problem you find out how good or bad they are. His motel has made my recommended list, and I haven't even stayed there......yet.

The new number it needs to have on it is 989-495-5560

Zwie, That's why I'm asking which flyer Eric's family wants to use- The direct number I have for Det Gary Thomas is 989 495 5560 and the anonymous tip line is 989 495 5557. Both of Eric's pages on Charley Project and Project Jason have the update in for the Michigan State Police with the number of 989 495 5555 and don't list the anonymous tip line.

Our family uses the (989-495-5555) but just because that's what was given to us earlier. The 233-2363 # was BV police #, so we aren't using it anymore. The old posters have that #, but we had the contacts changed on ones we send out to various places. SO, the (989)495-5560 is the direct line and you have the tip line #. Sounds like you have it all correct. THANKS!!!
