Hello, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm new to this board, I caught this story on the news and by chance found this site. A little about myself, I'm a fugitive recovery agent, fancy way of saying bounty hunter. I work primarily south east Michigan but as of late I've found myself further north in flint and Saginaw areas. I have added Erics picture to my person of interest file and will gladly show it around and hope we can get even a tiny hit.

Welcome!! And thank you!!

I received an email today from the producer of Dateline, Fred Rothenberg, who interviewed and filmed my sister and I at the MIM Day Saturday. He spoke with Dan Slepian from Dateline that I had exchanged emails with recently. They are very interested in Eric's story and want us to keep in touch. He also asked a MI state police officer to keep him informed. I sent him the Fox news interview and the video showing some of the missing in MI. I informed him that Eric's aunt will be representing Eric's family at the NC missing Roadside Rally in Wilmington on Sat. the 25th. I asked if Dateline has an affiliate near there that could film her.

This is such good news about Dateline!

I don't post a lot on Eric' thread, but I try to follow the thread and Eric, his family, friends, & daughter are in my thoughts. When I first started following the case on WS, I read some of Eric's social media postings about politics and found in him a kindred spirit as far as his political views. Sending positive energy to the family.

I clicked on your link about missing man, Shane Fell. He is almost exactly 2 yrs younger than Eric and disappeared in the same year as Eric just a few months later. Altho, we really don't know exactly which month Eric vanished in due to the various stories told by his former girlfriend and mother of his daughter. I posted a comment to Shane's page to his family. I pray they will also find answers.

Flyer attached...if I'm doing this right.

Are the wheel covers correct on the car you used on the flier you made?
Also; do you have the flier in Word?

That looks right. Dark bronze mist is the color name and the wheels covers look right I actually drive the same exact car only a different year model. Same color and everything.
Isn't that weird

Zwiebel; did you notice they're wearing Tshirts with your flier?

No! Such an idiot, I didn't recognize them! But somone was kind enough to let me know....Eric's face is very distinctive in that photograph, so hopefully it will stick in people's minds.

Thanks for the photos in your post up above Roselvr. They are inspiring seeing all the people advocating for our missing. But heartbreaking too....

Eric's aunt, Debra, felt that the day at the Roadside Rally was profitable. She was interviewed by two TV channels. She said people really liked the back of the t-shirt she wore (like we wore in MIM with your flier on front, Zweibel) where my daughter put a baby picture of Eric and the words "Everybody is Somebody's Baby". She people were taking pictures of her back and she hoped it would be on a news program somewhere. She ate lunch with Monica Caison and others and Monica gave her contact #'s for Nancy Grace. She gave her some pointers and information that could prove helpful to Eric's family and friends. She suggested another search and gave her pointers on how to conduct that. She said most of the people she spoke with had had similar stories dealing with officials, etc. BUT the one thing everybody thought was outrageous was that Eric's family was told not to put up missing posters or get on TV for the first year. She has more pictures to post later. I appreciate her representing Eric's family in his birth state.

THANKS, FBEye, for giving Eric's family the information to contact Monica Caison and the CUE Center.

I apologize for my silence. I've been reading the prior posts, taking notes on what page and from whom etc. It is very easy to get lost and confused quickly at times and since I work a lot it helps to take notes. Anyone should feel free to private message me with certain points you believe I should review, along with links etc.

Taking to the streets to remember the missing Submitted by Sara Hopkins on Sun, 05/25/2014 - 5:09pm.

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- you could see the signs along Carolina Beach Rd. Some cars honking as they passed by Sunday afternoon....

...Founder of the cue center for missing persons. Monica Caison has been focused on finding the missing... and supporting their families since 1994.

Debra T says not a day goes by she doesn't think about her nephew Eric Franks, an NC native missing from Saginaw, Michigan since 2011.

"You think he's dead, you know you'll never find him, then the next day you get some hope,"

And while no one expects it to happen, "It doesn't matter the age. Everybody is some body's baby."

Rally calls attention to murdered, missing people By Caitlin Dineen

Valentino was one of more than 20 people gathered Sunday on Carolina Beach Road near Shipyard Boulevard for a roadside rally part of National Missing Children's Day.

The rally was organized by Monica Caison and Valentino who are with the CUE Center for Missing Persons.

...“It can happen to anyone at any time,” Valentino said.

While Valentino has had years knowing her sister's end fate, others gathered Sunday are still holding out hope their loved ones are found.

...The roadside rally is something Jordan hopes will remind people that there is information out there. People just need to tell police what they know.

“With the missing person, if there's no clues, then the story gets lost,” he said.

Cars zooming by at 45 miles per hour does not exactly disseminate information to everyone passing by. But seeing a crowd of people gathered for one purpose drives home the point, Caison said.

“They get more out of this than putting a 1,000 fliers out there,” she said.

Families with missing loved ones shared memories and advice with other families about how to go on living without answers....

...Debra T is still searching for her nephew Eric Lee Franks. She said he went to visit an estranged girlfriend after she told him he had a daughter. He never came home.

I received another email today from Fred Rotheberg, Dateline producer. He was letting me know that he got the emails from me with the links to watch the video from the MIM Day and the link to watch the news interview we had that day. I told him Eric's aunt Debra was going to send photos and links to her interviews at the Roadside Rally in NC. He closed his remarks with a line a TV producer would use, "To be continued." Hopefully, a break in Eric's case will come soon and his story can be aired.

What exactly would you like to know & how do you feel you can help?
If you're not comfortable being verified; perhaps speaking to Eric's mom would be another option?

The owners of WS make every effort to not disclose who you are once you verify. They will verify that you do work as a bounty hunter. They are very professional to not compromise your identity

Skiptracker - Would you have an issue with us having you verified by a moderator as a professional? It takes only 2-3 minutes in a brief phone call.
