Police say seven people have been fatally shot at two locations in the western Michigan city of Grand Rapids and the victims include a child.

Police are searching for 34-year-old Rodrick Dantzler after the deaths were discovered Thursday afternoon.
Heartwell couldn't confirm any motive behind the shootings or Dantzler's relationship to any of the victims.
Police tell The Grand Rapids The paper that two women and a child were found dead at one house, and three women and a man were found at the other home.

Doesn't sound like a nice guy: Police say the suspect in the shootings is Rodrick Shonte Dantzler, 34. Police believe he is armed and extremely dangerous.

Dantzler has an extensive criminal record, including a felony assault less than murder, misdemeanor assault and battery, domestic violence and breaking and entering.
