Rolla Kretzschmer Obituary​

KRETZSCHMER, Mr. Rolla James - Age 62, of Somerset, KY, formerly of Michigan, died Saturday, July 19, 2003. Mr. Kretzschmer was born February 26, 1941 in Owensdale, MI. He married Melody (Gardner) Kretzschmer on July 5, 1996 in Michigan. He retired as a Supervisor for the General Motors Corporation. He had also worked locally at the Kingsford Charcoal Plant. Mr. Kretzschmer served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed square dancing and was a board member of the Lake Cumberland Kennel Club. He was a member of several different Goat Associations and enjoyed raising them and other exotic animals himself. At one time he was the Bat City Area Champion in Golden Glove Boxing while in High School. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset, KY on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 2PM, Bro. Robert Lawson officiating. Place of burial will be announced at a later date. Surviving are: wife, Melody (Gardner) Kretzschmer; mother, Carol Kretzschmer; son, Rolla Morris Kretzschmer, Arthur James Kretzschmer all of Michigan; step-son, Damon Travis, husband of Joni Eva, Dustin Brock Eva, all of Michigan; step-daughter, Karon Elizabeth Eva of Michigan; sister, Kay, wife of Loren Adams of Coral Springs, FL, Ruth, wife of Richard Dunn, of Michigan, Dana Martin of Ft.
