Police are seeking information about a 14-year-old girl who went missing in Detroit.

Police are seeking information about a 14-year-old girl who went missing in Detroit.

Genesis Martinez-Baquedano left her residence in the 8000 Block of Logan Street without permission on Monday (Aug. 12) and failed to return home.

She was last seen wearing an unknown top, white jeans, and white shoes.

Police say 14-year-old girl who went missing in Detroit back in August has been recovered

The Detroit Police Department says a 14-year-old girl who went missing over the summer on the city’s west side has been recovered. Police provided an update on Dec. 3.

Genesis Martinez-Baquedano was reported last seen on Monday, Aug. 12, at her home on Logan St. Police said the teen left the house without permission, and was reported missing later that day when she didn't return.

On Dec. 3, police sent an updating stating that the teen was recovered.

Police did not say where she was found, and no further details about the case were released.
