According to a MSP news release, the girl was hunting for mushrooms in her backyard when an unknown male appeared from the woods, grabbing the girl and covering her mouth. The victim was able to breakaway from the suspect. Her 13-year-old brother witnessed the attempted abduction and shot the suspect in the head and chest with a slingshot before the suspect fled the scene''

I think it would be really cool if LE could give the brother some kind of award or commendation for saving his sister.

That brother has some serious good aim! That young man should be beyond proud of himself. That’s what brothers do. They protect…especially their little sisters! I’m glad the suspect was caught. Now he has record of this behavior and hopefully they watch him. These urges don’t just go away.
