The picture of the truck with the flags reminded me of the truck used by the guy from Houston who drove over people in the French Quarter. He had flags on the back of his Ford truck.

Didn't French quarter guy have an isis flag tho?

He had one flag on the back of his Ford lightning truck. LE covered it up. It was some islamic group flag. I don't remember the name. He was trying to kill as many people as possible also. He was having financial problems, too. I hope there aren't any marking on the bullets. Some of the details of these shootings are so weird.

It just enrages me that people call in fake bombs during a devastating time as this. Such mindless creeps.
And LE has to check out all of them.

One of the trainings I conduct is Active Shooter training, and the last training I conducted was at a church.

Do you think people could have barricaded themselves in rooms to escape gunfire and then couldn't escape quickly when the fire was set?

Entirely possible. In the US, people drill for active shooters and for fires, and the advice is completely opposite. The Covenant School shooting was probably deadlier because of that - the gunsmoke triggered the fire alarm, and people began to evacuate, not knowing that there was an active shooting situation.

For any who might be wondering about the white square to the upper left above the crashed truck - it's probably a sign. Every LDS church has one in whatever the local language is. It's often on the building, but it can be on the perimeter fence if the church has one. My childhood church had it on the building in the '80s and '90s - and that sign is probably still there - but it now has a perimeter fence, I think because people from the high school across the road kept using their parking lot and it became an issue, so now they have the sign on the fence.
