Has anyone found Facebook or Instagram? His Twitter link was posted above. If he's able, he might communicate on SM???

For anyone local, what's the weather like? I'm assuming he couldn't spend the night outdoors this time of year without preparation....so if he is still alive, he's likely looking for shelter.

If he has warm clothes, he can probably manage to find a place to hide out and be OK. Cold at night, so he would need some sort of shelter. I wonder if there are many homeless in the area.

So he killed his parents in his dorm room and is now on the run? Sorry, trying to make it through the reading but seeing CMU and shooting in the news has me all shook up. Have a friend that works there and saw her panicky posts and my head is in a blur.

It's winter in Michigan. Probably mid-30s during the day, colder overnight. We had major snowmaker yesterday in metro Detroit (5 to 8" of new snow). Not sure how much snow they have in the middle of the state.

Not much snow in mid-Michigan. I think he is dead. Hope we find out soon!

According to WDIV report at 5:00PM, law enforcement and campus police are working their way around campus to escort faculty, staff, and students to safe areas. The process could take a while as they are loading buses from classroom buildings, dorms, etc. to get people to places where they can connect with parents picking up students, parking lots, etc.

When do you expect your son to come home? Does he have a car on campus or some other transportation home? I hope he gets home safely and soon.

Thank you. He is still hunkered down in his off campus apartment.

It’s cold. I’d be hard to get through a night here. But I guess it’s possible.

That's the latest. Apparently parents went to pick him up and gotten killed.

"The Davises were reportedly picking up their son from his college campus for spring break when the shooting happened."

Glad your son is safe.

Im so tired of all the senseless killing lately and I am sure many other people are also tired of it. The shooters and murderers lately are often very young as this 19 year old was.

In the news close to where I live we have killings almost one a day it seems and often it is young people and gang related. Just tired of it and tired of how it affects a whole community when it happens.

The sad thing is I dont even get shocked anymore when I hear of a shooting in our local news. I can remember a time a long time ago when it was a rare occcurence and I used to get a little shocked about it. Anymore when I hear about a shooting on my local news I dont even flinch. And that is very sad.

Hope LE finds him quickly so people can begin to rest easy. Its not fair to the community what he has done with this shooting.

I don't see the son on her list of FB friends. That doesn't necessarily send a red flag to me, but I was hoping to find him.

I don’t find him in any family FB pages .. not mom, dad, sister (I think), or other family/friends He may use other social media I am not familiar with; I think kids are going away from FB now

There’s a big casino right there. My Mom thinks he may be blending in there. I don’t think so. There’s got to be cops everywhere.

A lot of them are, but they are also good at using nicknames and hiding their friends and connections.
