Per the outlet, Roy Goodman allegedly admitted to the station that the dogs had been previously involved in three dog bites, including allegedly involving a child.

after a bite incident here, there is an investigation by animal control and possibly charges, fines, and the owner is subject to keeping the dog muzzled and leashed at all times outside the house ... unfortunately the dog is sometimes euthanized especially if it's a repeat incident

looks like this guy has been fined but were there any orders after the prior incidents? like was he supposed to have control of them at all times? (which can't happen if they're in a backyard unleashed because they can always jump the fence, dig under the fence, take advantage of a gate being left open or swinging open in the wind)

if so, despite his apology, he should be charged and sued - and never have custody of dogs again, cause he clearly doesn't know how to train them properly

Yes, unfortunately there were 60 Americans killed by dogs in 2023. 44 of those deaths resulted from being mauled by one specific breed. BUT as long as people keep ignoring math and keep their heads in the sand, these horrific deaths will not only continue... they will increase.

2022 numbers are 53 Americans killed by dogs with 33 of those deaths being perpetrated by the same one specific breed.

*Stats available upon request, as they were compiled by me in the form of Excel tables.
