Didn't they say she lost her job? From what I've read, I thought she heard about the murder while at work, got up and left and never came back?
Yes. Correct.
The link in my original post (#772) works fine for me. I don't know why others have problems with it. Maybe it's because it was included in an email alert to me from WDIV.
OK .. It's like this: (lol, i just tried "this and that")
When click on it (on the link in that post) .. it doesn't open up .. and redirects one HERE, actually:
http://natl.ibsys.com/tu/67dKSlkdt.html
But i just tried something else ... i "
Copy/Paste" that link in that post of yours to the address line in a browser and tried it that way . and it DOES work "that" way!

This link of yours:
http://www.clickondetroit.com/tu/67dKSlkdt.html (but i bet if people click on it here in my post as well, it won't work and MAYBE will ONLY work for you, cuz has to do something with "you got it in your email" (and it ONLY works for you for some reasons, but not for others))) .. so one would need to C/P it and try it as i mentioned above .. then it will work .. cuz it will redirect one HERE:
http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/...det_break&ts=T&tmi=det_break_1_03480204262012 (to the proper place another words)
Regardless, however, if your link was a working one or not, i would probably still quoted your post and then would add few more details from that article in my post (as i did), because (and in noticed it already several times) ... those articles at some sites (as that Clickondetroit one, Detroit Free Press, etc) tend to disappear without a trace, unfortunately (after some
while)
Just yesterday i was looking for an older article and photo in it (to see something) ... it was either from late January or early February (i forgot now already) .. and i DID find it (in Search box at the source) .. and then i Clicked on it .. and at the link it told me, LOL :banghead: "
Unfortunately, the link you are trying to access is no longer available" ... - Hmmmm .. 2 or 3 months ... and .. some of them are totally gone (??)

That sucks then...
Or they remove some of them only .. i don't know..
BUT .. if that is the case at some sites.. - then if we simply put a link in our posts.. and then click on the link couple months later.. - Nothing there?

Hopefully it's only at some sites like that, and not at all sites.... but still..... -- that is why i like to see some details in the post (
especially the important points of the article) ... this way, if the link at the Source is no longer - we STILL have those details here ... and the original source is still mentioned in the post ( if it doesn't work any longer, it's not our problem then, but theirs

).
This post had some important details in it etc.. was quite an important post actually (not sure now.. but maybe it even had a link to the PDF file at the source). I noticed later on, that Moderator "snipped" that post of mine for the reason given .. Oh well .. - at least i tried.
P.S. Not sure if it's such a big offense anyhow to post few more details from the article .. then just few words.. - i see it done all the time on the net... - after all, we DO provide the link to the original Source.... and if their link disappears after a while.. BUT we still have important details / paragraphs from it... - GOOD for us and TOO BAD for them )))))
Some forums that i visit ..
for years C/P the entire articles in posts .. and NO PROBLEM.
The way i look at it .. if the Source is indicated .. and the original link to the Source is provided - it's not an offence.
Some Forums tend to take extra protection about this ... I understand.
But not that great (for everyone) - if after sometime click on the link for details and will find NOTHING is there at the source any longer .. and no details in the Forum's post either .. That sucks :banghead: LOL
