I was just on Realtor.com and noticed that the price has been lowered to $399,000. There are several interior photos, and the 1955 build has been nicely updated - spacious kitchen, hardwood floors, plantation shutters, large windows overlooking backyard. Personally, I think the exterior lacks "curb appeal" - too many colors going on: red brick, pale grey window trim, charcoal grey shutters, butterscotch front/garage doors uke: Nice landscaping. :moo:

I agree, although the interior is quite nice, the exterior could be spruced up a little at least. I mean, how about pressure washing the brick, paint a little and neaten up the yard?

Brick definitely needs power-washing, and I'd stick with greys for all of the window/door trim, shutters, and garage door, offset by a red front door. Trees and shrubs need some pruning, too. :moo:

Boy, I hope Gentz doesn't mess up for his part in getting BB convicted - that's when and if he's ever charged. What's the hold up? The budget problems?

At least BB's not going anywhere soon. I have compassion for Jane's family. The stress of anticipating what's going on, added to the fear that something peculiar could happen to keep BB from facing charges for Jane's murder, must be difficult to handle. I hope the case moves along quickly for their sake.

Worthy to make announcement in Bashara murder case

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy plans to make an announcement on Wednesday in the Jane Bashara homicide case.

Former handyman Joseph Gentz was sentenced in February by Wayne Circuit Judge Vonda Evans to serve 17-28 years in prison for Bashara's death.

The Grosse Pointe Park mother was strangled in January 2012. her body was found in her luxury SUV in an east side Detroit alley.

Bob Bashara, who has maintained that he is innocent, was named a person of interest by police in his wife's death, but he has not been charged. He is currently serving a prison sentence of about 6 1/2-20 years in prison for trying to hire a hit man to kill Gentz in jail.

Mark Kriger, Bob Bashara’s attorney, said today that he does not know the details of Wednesday’s announcement.

“The last I heard is that they’re still investigating it,” he said of the prosecutor’s office.

Susan Reed, Gentz’s attorney, said she has no first-hand knowledge of what will be announced. She speculated whether the announcement would have to do with potential charges against Bob Bashara.

“Joe Gentz is already in jail, so there’s nothing to announce there,” Reed said. “That only leaves the other person of interest.”

Announcement Coming In Jane Bashara Murder Case

DETROIT (WWJ) - Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy will hold a press conference on Wednesday, making an announcement in the Jane Bashara murder case.

WWJ Legal Analyst Charlie Langton, who has been following the case for over a year, said Worthy is expected to announce murder charges against Jane’s husband, Bob.

“That’s really speculation at this point … but it’s certainly a possibility,” said Langton. “It’s the question that everyone’s been asking: When will Bob Bashara be charged in the death of his wife?”

Prosecutor to make announcement in Bashara case Wednesday

Detroit — The question of whether Grosse Pointe Park businessman Bob Bashara will be charged in the slaying of his wife Jane may be answered Wednesday.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has scheduled an 11 a.m. press conference in her office Wednesday, "to make an announcement in the Jane Bashara homicide case," according to a press release issued Tuesday afternoon.

Mark Kriger, Bob Bashara's attorney, said Tuesday he hadn't heard whether his client would be charged.

"I haven't heard anything from prosecutors," Kriger said. "I'll have to talk to (Bashara) about this. I don't know if I'll be representing him for these charges, if there are any."

Jane Bashara's sister, Julie Engelbrecht Rowe, said Tuesday she also hadn't heard of any new developments in the case.

"This is the first I'm hearing of it; I'll have to make some phone calls to find out what's going on," she said.

Police officials told The Detroit News Bashara wanted his wife killed so he could set up a sex dungeon in a house not far from his Grosse Pointe Park home, where he would live with his girlfriend, Rachel Gillett, and a woman from Oregon he'd met on alt.com, a website that caters to S&M aficionados.

Bashara kept a sex dungeon in the basement of a bar he owned, the Hard Luck Lounge on Mack, near the Detroit-Grosse Pointe Park border.

While in jail awaiting charges, prosecutors said in a court filing that Bashara had a third woman who acted as his sex slave, "a new female, who is eagerly conducting his bidding," the filing said.

A spokeswoman for the prosecutor’s office on Tuesday would not comment on whether homicide charges will be filed against Bob Bashara.

“You’ll have to wait until the announcement,” assistant prosecutor Maria Miller said.

Nancy Bashara, mother of Bob Bashara, said Tuesday she knew about a “meeting” regarding the case but declined to comment because she said she doesn’t know anything else about it.

The Local 4 Defenders have learned that charges are expected to be announced Wednesday against Bob Bashara in connection with his wife's 2012 death.

The time was like 10:30 am Eastern .. was all ready to watch it .. and suddenly my screen went black ..and it started to smell like burnt electronics ... haha

My monitor broke....
My nice Samsung 21.5 inch ... I guess it's normal .. after 4 years or so (not sure now how long it's been)

So instead of watching at 11:00 am I ended up going to stores ..and ending up buying Samsung 23 inch ... just set it up .. Nice monitor

23 inch at 1920 x 1080 resolution .. on a bigger screen sure looks good..
