I think he should get 3 life sentences - one for murdering his wife and one for each of his two children's lives that he's ruined. If I were his daughter I'd be seething with hatred - can you even imagine the hurt he's caused? I can't. And you're right, Bravo - I'm sure Jane is very proud of her daughter. That testimony was heart-wrenching.

In it, Bashara said he was not having an affair. He said he loved his wife and children and wouldn't do anything to hurt them.
"She meant everything to me," Bashara said.
Bashara said in the interview that he couldn't comment on the alternative lifestyle because he had his children to worry about.
In another interview, being shown, Bashara, asked about Gentz's statement that Bashara forced him to kill his wife, said he doesn't own a firearm.
Jessica testified that her father told her that he was at one of his rental properties when her mother went missing.
Jessica said he went back to the house around 6 p.m. for keys. She said that he said he was at the house for less than five minutes when he came back.
Jessica said her father discussed private investigators with her. She said he hired a private investigator because he wasn't happy with the progress
of police.
Michael McCarthy, one of Bashara's attorneys, is cross examining Jessica now.
Jessica said her mother was an organized woman. McCarthy asked Jessica if her mother left notes. She said she had done that before.
McCarthy asked if her mother was a good communicator and she said yes.
McCarthy asked her if her parents did taxes together. She said she believes so.
Jessica said it was odd to her that her mother hadn't called her back.
McCarthy asked Jessica if her father sounded like he was concerned when he called her. She said yes.
McCarthy asked if she called her mother that evening and in the morning. She said she did.
Jessica said she also called hotels.
McCarthy asked Jessica if she came to any conclusion once she learned her mother was deceased and her body had been found in her vehicle.
Prosecution objected. Judge sustained.
McCarthy asked Jessica what she knew about her father buying a house on Kensington.
She said she didn't know about it before it was in the news.

She said the conversation with her mother was shortly after the trip.
McCarthy asked Jessica what her father's demeanor was like the day her mother's body was found.
She said: "Honestly I think I was in a state of huge emotional shock" and doesn't feel like she can comment on anyone else's demeanor.
Jessica said it's hard to remember some of the details of that time.
McCarthy asked if she remembered her mother telling her that she and Bob Bashara were going to start spending more time together, going on dates. She said yes.
She said that was two days before her mother died.
No further questions from the defense.

I missed something that (Elisha/reporter) is filling me in on. Jessica testified that she and her mother had a conversation about what would happen if she and Bob Bashara got divorced. She said her mother hoped to be able to take her 401(k) and make a clean break and get her names off of her father's rental properties. Jessica testified her mother was concerned her 401(k) would be taken because of debt on the rentals.
