Jane's mother is next. This poor woman shouldn't have to be here. She should be enjoying her daughter and her family, minus Bob.

Calls Bob's life a "scummy dungeon life" and, like her daughter, she wishes all the "best" of prison life for Bob. She also wants him to live a life and, while she may not live that long, the days she does live, she wants to think of him rotting in jail.

He will continue to appeal the sentence. Witnesses lied, misstated the truth, and painted a different picture than what was true.

He wanted to face is MIL, but he had to turn around and face the judge. He loved, and comforted Jane, and helped to deliver their children. Blah, blah, blah.

I've done nothing to harm her, did not conspire with anyone, including Mr. Gentz.

He then goes on to read a letter from a prisoner about Joe. Joe changed his story and said he lied to get time off his sentence. Joe said he worked for the money Bashara gave him. Joe called women and deserved what she got (my own words there).

I was listening to the live feed - the judge was awesome - but my connection was really bad and it froze up for a few minutes at the end - was the sentence read at the end of the judge's speech? The feed came back live as everybody was filing out of the courtroom.

After she sentenced him & got up from the bench to leave, Judge Evans yelled, "TAKE HIM OUT! TAKE HIM OUT!" I had to laugh -- I was kinda hoping for gunshots to ring out in the courtroom, but I guess the deputies knew she was only speaking figuratively.
