Makes me wonder if somehow Jessica kicked the s*** out of the door, but lost the fight, before being pushed into the car. :stormingmad:

I truly hope so and I hope she's still fighting. :please:

I'm not great with creating maps but to give a visual of the general picture --

A is the gas station, abduction

B is Old Homestead Tavern. It is on the right side of the road when heading north, as the minivan is seen heading in the video.

It's only about a mile from A-->B

The case has just been featured on On the record on Fox News. No news unfortunately no license plate visible, no guarantee vehicle is involved in disappearance, low crime area and worringly not the only gas station with no cameras in the area - police guy said. Sorry didn't get his title.

I hope the other garages get cameras ASAP just incase the perp singles them out and strikes again.

Praying for news worried there are no developments.

So was the van already on the highway or heading toward the highway and was that the way to go in order to hightail it out of town?

The Homestead is very near the US31/Business31/I96 interchange. Which is sickening if you think about it. From there he was a couple of minutes from highways heading North/South, East or through the town of Muskegon which could take him into Muskegon Heights and many surrounding towns. Basically, if you asked me to find you the best place to disappear quickly from Norton Shores, this is where I would take you.

One thing I am thinking though...if he just wanted to go North or South on US31, there was a closer highway exit to the Exxon station. You can actually see it from the station. So I kind of think you can tentatively rule out Northbound or Southbound for now and focus on East (which is a direct route to Coopersville, where people in a gas station reported seeing a similar van stalking around, and then Grand Rapids and Detroit) or into the city of Muskegon or Muskegon Heights via Seaway Drive or Getty Street.

I dunno-that 911 call-reminds me of BTK for some odd reason-wanting to call attention to a crime etc. I know,
(I know-I am just naturally suspicious.......sorry guy.)

My opinion only-

Wherever he's keeping her it can't be far. It'd be hard to subdue me if he was the driver and alone. Plus he didn't take that much time into putting her into the van IE( tying her up) if he made such a quick getaway. I'd say she fought like crazy. But BE DANG THOSE CHILDLOCK DOORS!!! Ugh!

Off-duty fellow employee who just happened to drive by, notice something was weird, park in the lot next door to watch and then leave without checking on the situation.

What did he/she see that was weird and what time? Struck me as kind of odd.

Ha! I cant get an image of this hair either. Sounds like a horrible style if you ask me.

Me too!

Sounds like he should be arrested just for bad hair alone!

:blushing: Sorry.... Couldn't resist...

To me, the direction and roadway the suspect vehicle is traveling indicates a local suspect. They are not headed out of town. They are headed right into Muskegon. If the perp were heading to 31 either north or south, why not pick it up just east of the Exxon station?

Where is the physical description of the suspect coming from?

LE has not said. Just a witness who came forward and told LE about seeing a van at the gas station around that time.
Maybe it was the second 911 call.? We've heard there were two, a minute a part - no details known about the second call.
People have learned things on FB but that's not verifiable information.

Computer problems here - is the thread running slow?

In what direction is the apartment where the van with no license plate was spotted?

I tend to agree, especially with some of flutter's comments. There seems to be too much indicating this is a random on/off at this point.

However my concern would be how local... is he from the next town over or several hours away (or out of state)? Could he be familiar with Norton Shores from his past or work and has loose ties that wouldn't be obvious in an investigation?

I am on page 29 catching up...but just watched the video and I clearly see the vehicle turn left past the bar...watch the headlights! Where does that go?

Have there been any organized searches yet?

They could be heading for I96 which takes you East all the way across the state.

But I feel like he's local too. I wonder if he works in the industrial park nearby. My brother in law works over there, 3rd shift, and he said tons of people stop there on the way to and from work for gas, cigs, pop, etc.
