DETROIT - A Detroit man convicted of the murder of 24-year-old Kajavia Globe was sentenced Tuesday morning.

Ex-boyfriend gets 70-100 years in woman’s death

A 25-year-old man convicted in the death of ex-girlfriend Kajavia Globe was sentenced Thursday to between 70 and 100 years in prison, according to court officials.

Maxwell Brack was found guilty last month of second-degree murder in Globe’s death. The 24-year-old Detroit woman’s body was found Dec. 14 in a garbage bin, nude from the waist down, with a rope tied around her neck.

The 55-gallon, wheeled garbage bin was discovered behind an abandoned house in the 18500 block of Fielding near Clarita on the city’s northwest side...
