In the hard-bitten city of Inkster, a little girl’s killing appears to have crossed a line.

The triple shooting Tuesday night that ended the life of 2-year-old Kamiya French and left two of her relatives wounded violated the “code of the streets,” said neighbor Antwan Harrison. A witness said Kamiya had been playing outside when she was shot in the head at point-blank range.


...The shooting critically injured a 12-year-old girl and left a 34-year-old man with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to the Michigan State Police, which is investigating the incident.

A witness said a man walked up to two kids playing in a yard and shot the 2-year-old, then turned the gun on her father and the other girl, who was struck multiple times.

A two-year-old Inkster girl has been murdered in what has been called retaliation for the actions of her father. Raymone Jackson has been arrested and charged with the murder of Kamiya French, as authorities allege he intentionally walked up to the girl and shot her once in the head.

Police havealready executed 10 search warrants, finding three handguns during the investigation. In addition, two more people (who have yet to be identified) were arrested Thursday &#8211; their names are being withheld until they are charged. Jackson is being held without bail, and has been charged with attempted murder, and torture among other crimes.

It's unthinkable that anyone would execute a toddler....but three men involved??? hwow:

After Jackson shot Kamiya French, he shot Kamiya's father. Kamiiya died, her father was wounded but expected to live.
Kamiya's last name is sometimes known as Gross.

Jackson is being severely scolded by Judge because he was mouthing words at the witness during her testimony.

I saw that; it appeared he was trying to threaten her.

witness is testifying that Jackson's street name is "MoneyBags" or "Bags".
The other defendant in the killing, Raphael Hearn, is known as "Chew" or "Shoes"

Kenneth French, Kamiya's father is about to take the stand. There is a good deal of tension in courtroom. A spectator was escorted out for an outburst.
