[h=1]Detroit police search for woman missing from city's east side[/h]

Police said Marybeth Griffin was last seen at about 6 p.m. by a family member at her home in the 17000 block of Detroit Street.

Her daughter is concerned because she said it is unlike her mother to be gone and not contact anyone.
Griffin is in good physical and mental condition.
She is described as white with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. Griffin was last seen wearing a red hoodie, a black jacket and black pants.

I was thinking that it's obviously not a recent one as there is no way someone would be wearing that in Detroit this time of year...

Hope she turns up safe.

When I read the WDIV article this morning, I was surprised to learn that the missing woman is 57. MG looks much younger in that photo. I hope she's somewhere safe and warm. No one could survive outdoors given the frigid temps here.

No updates so far. I'm watching figure skating now but have checked local media over the last few hours. I hope MG has been found and is safe. I don't have to know any other details of her disappearance.

Yes I heard yest she made contact with her daughter but something didn't seem right and was to be checked into. My friend knows them so I am going to verify with a friend.
